.@willnorman: what are you doing to improve the behaviour of London cyclists? All but a small minority now fail to stop at red lights and many use pavements illegally. All this puts other road users & especially pedestrians at unacceptable risk. Time to stop it.

As I was saying.... TfL, post election, have confirmed that they are withdrawing the D7 route. Their plans, if approved will break the bus link between both sides of the Isle of Dogs. The Council unanimously objected to this. look out for more information on how to object.

Every time Raynor and Pennycook pop up they should be asked why and how this Labour government are overseeing *fewer* new council housing starts two years into power compared to the Tories over14 years.
Lamentable performance so far. A lot of journalists are very quiet about it.

🇬🇧 Terry Harryman 🥹
Terence Arthur "Terry" Harryman (born September 26, 1938) is a pioneering Northern Irish rally co-driver whose career spanned more than five decades, moving from 1960s club roots to the pinnacle of World Rally Championship (WRC) dominance and endurance cross-country racing.
The Vatanen Era:
Partnered Ari Vatanen through Opel and Peugeot works teams during the mid-1980s, securing iconic WRC victories including the 1985 Monte Carlo Rally (the most recent British co-driver win at Monte Carlo), the Swedish Rally, Safari Rally, 1000 Lakes (Finland), Sanremo, and the RAC Rally.
Diversified Pedigree:
Navigated across generations—starting with Paddy Hopkirk in works Minis, later winning the 1986 German Championship with Michèle Mouton (Peugeot) and the
1988 Dutch and Irish Tarmac championships with Mark Lovell (Ford).
Resilience:
Recovered from a severe back-breaking crash with Vatanen in 1985, returning to top-flight competition just three months later.
Later Chapters:
Transitioned into team management (Renault Dealer Team), event promotion (Mobil 1 Rally Challenge), and competing in the Middle East and the Dakar Rally prior to retiring in 2003. Honored with induction into the Ards and North Down Sporting Wall of Fame.
Recognised as one of the early innovators and systemizers of competitive pace-note transcription in international rallying.
Extremely sad news for everyone involved in Rallying.
A legend in the co-drivers seat.
Thinking of Terry’s family, friends and colleagues in the WRC.
