A few days back, I wrote and op-ed in which the following lines were presciently poignant: "Bloodletting and death becomes us."
And now Minna is awash with inocent blood, with the inexplicable death of 37 mining detainees. Such needless and senseless death warrants a national outrage. The only crime these Nigerians committed is that of being Nigerians and living under an APC government.
As I said: "Things are so bad that if APC were a manufactured product, it would have been pulled off the shelves and banned for being detrimental to human existence." Minna deaths represent the proof, if any was ever needed. But let this be said: there must be consequences for these deaths.

In April 1945, with Axis defeat looming, Britain sent General Sir Andrew Thorne to Trent Park with a dramatic proposal:
Would captured German generals broadcast a surrender appeal to end the war and save lives?
Their response was astonishing:

The generals did not believe that their retreating troops on the Western Front would have time to listen to wireless broadcasts, and leaflets rarely reached the frontline.
On a political note, they said that the Nazi Party had already begun to blame them for the defeat of Germany; their betrayal was deemed to be the cause of Germany’s downfall. In their eyes, the only way forward was the elimination of the men currently in power in Germany; namely, the eradication of the Nazi Party. In a separate statement to Lord Aberfeldy, Bassenge told him that the generals had essentially the same aim as the Allies – to bring a rapid end to the war.

King Charles pulled Harry’s security and he also asked other countries not to provide security. He has been silent for ten years as the press abused Harry and Meghan. I believe Charles Spencer.

So all the 37 people that died in civil defence custody in Nigeria were buried without autopsy.
Where were they buried in a hurry? What are they trying to cover up?
Bro, Nigeria is a crime kingdom.
Because nobody got punished for it, it has repeated itself again decades later! – at Meadows Place, TX
In March 1980, 50 men suffocated to death after officers locked them in an overcrowded Black Maria and rejected their pleas for fresh air.
▶️A day earlier, police officers had raided Isolo and Mushin in Lagos following what they described as an armed robbery incident and arrested 68 men for wandering.
▶️On the day of the incident, all 68 pleaded not guilty in court, but were ordered to remain in custody pending further investigation. They were then packed into a Black Maria designed to hold about 30 people.
▶️After several hours in the overcrowded vehicle under the afternoon sun, many were unconscious when they arrived at Ikoyi Prison.
▶️47 died before reaching Lagos General Hospital, while three others died in hospital. Doctors attributed the deaths to suffocation, worsened by hunger and dehydration.
▶️Many of the victims were later identified as ordinary workers, including spray painters, mechanics, glass cutters and carpenters.
▶️A survivor, Mohammed Garba, told a government inquiry that detainees had shouted that they were suffocating while the van was still outside the court. He said a policeman responded, "A dying man does not talk."
▶️In May 1981, nine police officers charged over the deaths were acquitted after a prolonged trial.

Dear @AnambraNewMedia @PayeeIzuchukwu,
I believe this is @Ejimofor88, along with one of the commissioners in Anambra, insisting that the Soludo government has not accepted any loan since inception.
Here is my humble question:
If reports show that the same Soludo government in 2025 paid a ₦500 million counterpart fund for the European Investment Bank-assisted NEWMAP-EIB phase and accepted it, a related credit to the ones the government tagged as a loan taken by Obi, how come the one taken by the Soludo government is not acknowledged by that same government as a loan?
Is this not a double standard?

My head can’t take it anymore.
How can over 37 boys be suffocated to death by their own police agency and the first thing the media labeled them is “illegal miners.”
Their president is jet-junketing on vacations and will probably not be aware till next month.
I hate how poverty forces you into a box because of where you are born and still strips your dignity after you are kïlled. I hate it here mehn. Nah 💔💔
As horrible as it is, this is plausible news in that environment!

I’m not sure you guys understand what just happened in Nigeria.
Over 30 young boys were arrested in Niger and locked in an overcrowded, unventilated cell with extreme heat by @official_NSCDC. They reportedly banged on the door and were ignored.
They were all found dead. Suffocated to dèath. By NSCDC. 💔

Wike destroyed his party to please you people, and you were happy. Now he wants to destroy your party (as a destroyer he is), you are complaining!
This is the mirror image of Nigerians, the exact behavior of Nigerians! They vote a bad leader into power, when the bad leader begin to show his bad leadership, they start complaining.

What Republicans are doing to Mitch McConnell is just as bad as what Democrats did to Dianne Feinstein. These people are too old to be in power, and those using them for political gain should be arrested and jailed. It's elder abuse.

Your regular reminder: If the Russians stop fighting, the war ends. If the Ukrainians stop fighting, their land will be occupied, their leaders will be killed, their history and language will be erased, their children will be kidnapped to serve Russia.

White people, I am going to say this & I want you to take it in…
Black people do not owe you kindness.
White people have done the most atrocious & disgusting shit to Black people. Generations of harm perpetrated by white people. So no, they owe us nothing
It shows the desperation of the ruling party.
APC has misgoverned the country and are now afraid of the verdict of the people!
But, the citizens should task the IGP to do his job.
He can't be sitting there and allowing people to harm and terrorize others!
