Last year @BluesBrewer who now brews for @FellBrewery invited my to do a re-brew of Azimuth.
I had hoped to organise a series of events but my health has rather prevented that. However, it will be pouring here.

So, a few weeks ago @HardKnottDave, @AlexTheNewTyke , @evansarah93 , and I got together in near some grain, hot water, hops, and a few yeast cells. Naturally some Azimuth ensued. Very excited to see it released into the wild on Saturday in Cartmel.

Anyway, just drink beer now. Play with electronics and radio a bit and just try and enjoy everyday as it comes.

Also, the pandemic doesn’t help. People worrying about their jobs but perhaps also furlough or forced unemployment resets thoughts on careers.

I’m debating in my own head the accusations of bullying etc in the beer industry.
I found running a brewery stressful. Running a pub even more so. I think it is inevitable that this stress ripples down to those supporting the business.

I wanted to share a quick update on the open letter from former BrewDog team members.
Well, this is getting interesting.
To be fair, I recognise the parallels of disgruntlement of ex-employees from many industries big and small.
When social media is a major plank of your PR campaign then stuff like this is damaging.

So, do I have to stop drinking Punk or is the latest furore more about the fact that there are still a lot of misogynistic twats in the beer industry.? And many pubs are full of misogynists?
I’m a dinosaur you see and still don’t “get” Insta. It needs to be explained here. – at Bootle, England
