What authority does Happy have on Web3 Marketing anyways?
And who even is Happy?
Let's rewind my career, and how I landed here 🧵
Lisk is entering a new chapter.
Ten years brought us to today, and what lies ahead has never been more exciting.
Here’s what you should know, and what it means for you, whether you’re a finance professional, Lisk builder, or LSK holder and DAO member.
The @Lisk team retreat last week was a great reminder that human connection is necessary.
Even in a remote-first, digital-native company.
This goes beyond the pleasure of seeing familiar faces in person, meeting new colleagues and bonding together.
The fact is, tools like Google Meet, Slack, Miro etc. are amazing for daily productivity; but they will never equal sitting in a room together once in a while. Especially for strategy sessions.
Back and energized.
2026 will be a big year for @Lisk. Onwards.
This is major news.
Open Campus is onboarding 50 million new users to the blockchain through tokenized academic records.
They’re all getting a verified digital credential on @educhain_xyz.
‘Ok cool so how does that benefit me?’
Ask yourself:
What happens when millions have a core piece of their life stored onchain?
In an ecosystem providing them with opportunity to stand out in a crowded job market?
And enabling them to actually prove they have the education & skills to build a successful career?
They’ll start digging. Using. Investing.
If you’re a builder, this is your signal to start thinking about how you can serve these users.
If you’re an investor, buckle up. The trickle down effect will be real as more and more of these partnerships take place.
50M new users, each investing $500 onchain through OpenCampus, would mean $50B new liquidity flowing to web3.
This is onboarding, for real and for good.
got myself a new surfboard 🤙
fun fact: there are actually a lot of surfers in crypto.
some you may have noticed like @cburniske (peek the banner) and some you wouldn’t expect - hello @toly
did you know Solana is named after Toly’s fav surf spot in California?
It's easy to underestimate the importance of good creative direction around here.
But in a space mostly focused on tech and numbers, impactful design can be a major edge.
Look at @codexfx's recent creative upgrade (before vs. after).
Which makes you feel something?
Punks. Squiggles. MoMA.
I’ve said it before and will say it again: generative art on blockchains will be a major artistic movement of the 21st Century.
The moment we’ve been building toward has arrived.
MoMA (@MuseumModernArt) has acquired 8 CryptoPunks and a complete set of 8 Chromie Squiggles.
Works generously donated by
@larvalabs, @kukulabanze, @Rhyd0n, @jdh, @VonMises14, @ArtOnBlockchain, @squiggleDAO, @gmoneyNFT, @judithESSS, @NTmoney, and The Medici Collection.
Acquisition organized by @kukulabanze, @Noahbolanowski and @1OF1_art
Grazie to Christophe Cherix, Michelle Kuo, and Stuart Comer at MoMA for their vision, conviction, and leadership.
post like these make me genuinely happy

Some big personal news…
I’m joining the @opensea team as a Marketing Lead. I get to wake up everyday and work on things I’m passionate about…leading Communications, driving product and marketing for Rewards/Loyalty, and guiding social strategy.
Community. Storytelling. Product. It’s like a bingo card of the things I love to work on.
Doing that at any company would be exciting, but to do it at OpenSea, one of the most impactful companies in crypto, is the kind of opportunity you dream about.
This also means I’ll be stepping away from my role as cohost of Coffee with Captain. CwC has been one of the best experiences of my life, and I’ll have more reflective thoughts on that unforgettable chapter in the coming days.
But for today, it’s all about the next chapter…one I’m beyond excited to begin writing.
OpenSea played a huge role in shaping my Web3 journey. Now I get to help shape its future.
Sails up. ⛵️
tonight's vibe
sometimes markets make you forget it's actually, really, about the people, the culture and the tech
money goes up and down
but the real stuff compounds value and meaning, each day a little more

Truth in this.
My take is it’s a generational condition. Three main reasons:
1. We’re the first of generations which really grew up with the internet.
We got used to getting everything quick.
Amazon prime. Uber eats. Social Media dopamine hits. Netflix.
Everything, ever accelerating. Our brains got wired for quick gratification.
2. Simultaneously, we saw successful people everywhere on social media (fake or real) that made it look like success could happen overnight.
3. Finally, we grew up during changing times with high uncertainty which made it hard for us to see how the world will look 10-20 years down.
Ultimately we ended up with shortened time horizons, a crave for quick wins and the inability to plan long-term.
Being aware of this is the first step to get the edge. I’ve been feeling this strongly lately.
