The Cornell 7 case is a disturbing reminder of just how broken our sexual culture has become. Somewhere along the way, we decided that as long as everyone consents, absolutely anything goes. But “our body, our choice” is not a moral framework. Consent matters. But consent alone doesn’t make something good, healthy, or morally right. Some things are simply wrong and we need to stop being afraid to say so. The sexual revolution sold us the lie that freedom means doing whatever we want with our bodies, look where that’s gotten us.

She and her family could have been killed! And they wonder why women don't speak up. This picture needs to be shared again. And again. And again.

ONE OF SNL'S BIGGEST SKETCHES WAS BASICALLY A HISTORY LESSON THAT WENT VERY, VERY WRONG. “Washington's Dream” starts in 1777. George Washington gathers his soldiers and explains his vision for the new United States. At first, it sounds noble. Freedom. Equality. A new nation. Then Washington starts explaining the details. And suddenly the speech becomes an increasingly ridiculous list of things he supposedly wants America to become. The brilliance is how seriously Nate Bargatze delivers it. He doesn't play Washington like a comedian telling jokes. He plays him like a man delivering the most important speech of his life. That deadpan commitment gives every absurd detail more weight. The audience isn't being told when to laugh. We're simply watching a historical figure confidently explain a completely ridiculous vision for the future. And somehow, the more serious Bargatze becomes, the funnier the sketch gets.
