🔴KEMI BADENOCH: DEFENDS #HUNTING
TWO of Exmoor's FINEST stags were chased to exhaustion and killed on Saturday by the Devon and Somerset Staghounds at Simonsbath. It's come to us that even some hunt followers are complaining that such magnificent animals were targeted. So much for "deer management". - @NDHuntSabs

A woman called Michelle Farnham is now 17 days into a 3 week protest, living in a cage, at Trafalgar Square, to try and save a pig called Luna (who lives in an identical cage). She stays there day and night.
It has not had any big coverage, as far as I can see. I think it's a bit of a shame that violent and disruptive protest gets so much coverage, while quiet sort of self-sacrificing things like this, that do not harm anybody or any property, get less attention.
Whether you or I agree with her, or what she's trying to do, what an impressive commitment, eh?

The Sovereign Grant is going up by £50 million. That's another £50 million in royal funding, on top of the half a billion we already give them. It's time to scrap the grant, plain and simple. #AbolishTheMonarchy

The bearskin caps worn by soldiers outside Buckingham Palace now cost more than £2,000 each and it takes one bear to make a single cap!
Faux fur is a win win! For bears and taxpayers!
Please act @DefenceHQ and fast, it's a no brainer.

These are not wildfires in Algeria, Croatia, Canada, or Spain… this is what Israel is doing, burning village after village in southern Lebanon, while the world remains silent!
Israel has destroyed, burned, and occupied 10 additional villages in southern Lebanon despite signing a US-sponsored framework agreement.
More than 16,000 hectares have been entirely burned, including over 120 hectares of centuries-old olive groves to ashes in southern Lebanon, estimated to be 300-1000 years old.
These are war crimes under international law: Wanton devastation not justified by military necessity; also an act of genocide according to Article Il of the UN Genocide Convention. Yet, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights does not view them as war crimes—just as he saw no genocide in Gaza!

Japan killed 14,000 bears after a rise in deadly attacks on people – but will it work? @guardian
The scale of bear culling in Japan is unrivalled in the modern era 💔
“Bears killed 13 people in Japan last year, as a lack of forest foods increased conflicts. Yet some say the country’s controversial cull could threaten the endangered species”
Tragic how humankind destroy habitats and then destroy the animals who leave their homes to seek food
