these words are mainly to myself but i wanted to share them with you guys as well in case you need to hear it! if no one chooses you, then maybe it’s time to choose yourself before anyone else. maybe you aren’t perfect, and you may never reach perfection, but guess what? you were never meant to be perfect in the first place. at the end of the day, when everything in this life comes to an end, the one person who will have been there through every single moment, every failure, every achievement, and every version of you is yourself. and maybe that’s the person you should have been choosing all along. the person whose opinion should matter the most, whose happiness deserves your attention, and whose worth should never depend on whether someone else sees it.
