I don't know how people can see Japan getting 600 points overnight, 3 of their events retiered into majors, one of their events becoming a P TIER and think the system is alright.

All of these announcements are still likely happening btw, nowhere in the tweet says the games were going to be revealed in the Direct.
More Nintendo leaks from the same source (Malo932) that correctly predicted pretty much all Nintendo announcements this year:
- A brand new Smash Bros game is in development, not a port of Ultimate
- Nintendogs is coming back
- Mario Kart World DLC coming in 2027 featuring Fox McCloud
- New Star Fox Adventures game in development
-3D Mario, Wario World, new 2D Metroid coming next year

Smash cope is a mental illness
When the sky opened up in that kirby trailer I thought it was smash
When Kirby’s hat had the inscriptions on it I thought it was a Link copy ability from smash
When the screen faded to black for the 6th time I thought it was smash

My hot take is that new smash rumors are completely necessary and help revitalize the scene,
It brings a big wave of motivation, so us sharing our thoughts and speculating around the new smash title can help inject passion into the community until it does end up coming out
