Catechism of the Council of Trent Question IV on the Fifth Commandment It is lawful to sentence Men to death, or to slay them, in Judgment Another kind of slaying is also permitted, which applies to those civil magistrates, to whom is given the power of life and death, by the legal and judicial use of which they punish the guilty, and protect the innocent. Far from involving the crime of murder, the just exercise of this power is an act of paramount obedience to this divine law, which prohibits murder. For since the end of this commandment is the preservation and security of human life, to the attainment of this end the punishments inflicted by the civil magistrates, who are the legitimate avengers of crime, naturally tend, giving security to human life by repressing audacity and outrage with punishments. Hence these words of David: I will early destroy all the wicked of the land, that I might cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.

🚨 BREAKING: I have obtained the official arrest report for Eric Lewis-- the man accused of shooting and killing 40-year-old Philadelphia Police Officer Shane Seiber. According to the report, Lewis told the arresting officers that he shot and killed Officer Seiber, and wounded his partner, because they were white. "He stated if the cops were black he would not have shot him... He was making racist remarks to the white police officers saying he makes more money than them." Officer Seiber was an Air Force veteran and leaves behind a wife and two young kids.

Still can’t believe Harry Styles came all the way from London to lecture Americans about ICE.. while his own home sits behind walls back in Hampstead. Harry's mega mansion is so MASSIVE that neighbors complained it could block the light into their homes. He's merging two of the four houses he bought on the same street into one mega mansion, with another as a gatehouse and the fourth just for guests. The plans include four dressing rooms for one master suite, a cinema, a plunge pool, a sauna and an art gallery. Open borders for thee, walled-off mega-mansions for Harry.

Happy Columbus Day! Did you know we get the modern word for "cannibal" from Christopher Columbus? During his voyages in the West Indes, Columbus encountered a tribe called the Carib which he called the "Caniba". The Carib were a war like people who would frequently invade their neighboring tribes, kidnap the women and eat the men. The Spanish, being a God fearing Christian people, were disgusted by the evil practice of cannibalism and quickly moved to squash the Carib, largely subjugating them by the end of the 16th century. I think we can all agree that cannibalism has no place in the world and we owe Columbus a debt of gratitude for his role in bringing civilization to the new world.

I hadn't been in the Church all that long when Pope Francis slipped in the new provision in the Catechism. At the time, it seemed like most of the response was, "Well, it's a prudential decision, and the Pope is free to deviate from his predecessors on such matters. This will die down soon enough, since the DP isn't popular anyway." Ed Feser was the exception. But as time has gone on, I think the reality has set in that this is a massive incoherence that goes to the heart of what the Church is and claims to be. The Pope is not using the language of a prudential decision-- he says the DP is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person, whatever that means. Apparently even God didn't understand this in earlier times. So if the hierarchy wants to continue its steady march into irrelevance, then full speed ahead, Gentlemen. But you should not expect thinking persons to continue to pay much heed to your daily pronouncements. They are increasingly nonsensical.
The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty

This is happening all across the United States. Schools are actively replacing Columbus Day with "Indigenous Peoples Day" to indoctrinate children into hating the historical story of our great country. They want to erase history.

EXC: A Washington think tank whose immigration program receives Soros funding has identified hundreds of American counties as destinations for migrants. 96.5% of selected counties are majority White . Residents would have no say. Its November 2025 immigration blueprint urges policymakers to “enable local governments and private entities to sponsor immigrants directly.” It also proposes state visa programs and “incentivizing new arrivals to stay in specific states and regions.” Two weeks later, Niskanen published its Migration Match Index, assessing American communities for their capacity to accommodate more immigration. The report describes places with “aging, stagnant, or insufficient native labor supply.” It weighs factors including job openings, rental vacancies, affordability, unemployment, and age. The authors explicitly discuss using updated data to plan resettlement following “an influx of asylum seekers at the border.” They also contemplate applications to a future refugee-admissions system. Niskanen’s own funding disclosure lists $300,000 from Open Society Foundation for immigration work, covering the period when both documents were published. Other donors include the Rockefeller Family Fund and the Pritzker Family Foundation. The organization already has a record of helping turn private sponsorship into policy. Its 2025 annual report says it “helped conceive and implement” Welcome Corps, the private refugee-sponsorship program established under Biden.

A good many of the "Indigenous People" groups in America were savage killers who slaughtered women and children. And many of the American Indian tribes actually enslaved their enemies. You don't hear much about that in public school classrooms or in the national media.

SCANDAL: Leo XIV doubles down and calls the death penalty "inadmissible" and an attack on human dignity. Francis changed the Catechism in 2018, contradicting Scripture and centuries of Church teaching, which taught capital punishment is not intrinsically evil. lifesitenews.com/news/leo-xi…

Yes, and this is just one of many disastrous implications of taking such an extreme view about the death penalty. Here is another. The Waldensian heretics of the 13th century, based on their understanding of the Gospel, rejected capital punishment as inherently immoral. Pope Innocent III required them to renounce this error as a condition for being reunited to the Church. But if Pope Francis were right, then it would follow that Pope Innocent III erred and the Waldensian heretics were right all along. Obviously, this opens an enormous can of worms. If a heretical group was right and the Church wrong in this case, what about in other cases? And if a pope can be wrong about such a grave matter, then Pope Francis could be wrong about it too. Hence Francis's remarks undermine the credibility of his own teaching no less than that of Innocent III. This is one reason it is so crucial that popes make sure not to contradict their predecessors (which almost every pope has been very careful not to do). The difference between Innocent III and Francis is that Innocent's teaching was consistent with that of scripture and all of his predecessors and successors in the papal office down to Benedict XVI. Francis is the odd man out. Hence, if we have to choose between Innocent and Francis, we must choose Innocent. This sort of error is possible for a pope because Francis was not speaking ex cathedra when he made the remark in question. The Church does not claim in the first place that popes are infallible in such cases. Hence for Francis to fall into error in such a case would not contradict what the Church says about papal infallibility. But the average person does not understand such nuances, so that remarks like the one in question cause needless confusion and division and trouble the consciences of those who mistakenly worry that the Church's claim to indefectibility has been falsified (and give aid and comfort to critics of the Church who draw the same erroneous conclusion). Anyone with a functioning intellect and a minimum of intellectual honesty can see the problem. It is clear as day. Scolding people who point it out for being "dissenters" convinces no one and betrays a grave lack of justice and charity. The Church will some day clarify this matter and reaffirm traditional teaching. It took four decades in the case of Honorius, the most spectacular example of a pope who failed to uphold orthodox teaching. But it happened, and it will happen again.
If the death penalty is, per se, contrary to the Gospel of Christ, then that would logically mean that anytime the State has executed criminals and/or anytime God commanded the DP in the Old Testament, it was always and in every instance contrary to the Gospel.

The best reading of all this stuff on capital punishment is that it is just very strong and poorly worded prudential exhortation. I really think that's how it has to be received and treated. Otherwise you veer into doctrinal positivism, starting to include floating empirical questions in the scope of Church doctrine, and claiming that what is clearly part of the universal ordinary magisterium ("what the Church teaches" independently of any particular pope/council) can be wrong and, for some reason unrelated to knowing the truth, we need to adjust our intellect to the latest papal pronouncement DESPITE knowing what has always been taught, by everyone, everywhere.
The mad lib is easy. I did one with gay marriage. Let's try it with abortion. Recourse to forced birth on the part of medical professionals, following a determination of viability, was long considered an appropriate response to the importance of human life and an acceptable, albeit inconvenient, means of safeguarding the common good. Today, however, there is an increasing awareness that the autonomy of the woman is not lost even after the conception of an unwanted child. In addition, a new understanding has emerged of the significance of pregnancy. Lastly, more effective systems of abortion have been developed, which ensure the due protection of the common good but, at the same time, do not definitively deprive the woman of the possibility of the free use of her autonomy over her body. Consequently, the Church teaches, in the light of the Gospel, that “the refusal of abortion is inadmissible because it is an attack on the sanctity of the conscience and dignity of the autonomy of the woman”,[1] and she works with determination for its abolition worldwide. "More value HERE, truth-claim that is clearly in the universal ordinary magisterium is overturned THERE."

LA Water and Power is a government owned monopoly. Socialism in action
An 83 year old retired nurse in Los Angeles was getting charged $0 for her water bill over the last 3 years because the meter was broken She had a water leak so she contacted the LADWP. They realized her meter was broke and sent her a bill for $9,207, saying that’s what she owes for the last 3 years Obviously this is a massive bill and she says she can’t pay The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power says “We have a responsibility to all the rest of our customers because we're only funded by our customer rates and charges, to collect a reasonable amount of time going back because the water was used but not paid for” I looked it up and in Los Angeles the average water usage bill for a small home is about $70-$110 per month If she missed 3 years of bills that would mean the math works out to about $3,960 maximum They sent her a bill for $9,207…. So much corruption

WOW 🚨 California resident with a large diesel truck went in to get gas, he was excited because he was expecting to finally get a cheaper price thanks to Donald Trump’s Executive Order removing the tax He was told by the gas station Gavin Newsom is BLOCKING the relief and it’s still full price He’s right. Donald Trump signed Executive Order 14435, “Emergency Tax Relief on Diesel Fuel” - Penalty waiver for dyed diesel on highways - Deferral of the federal excise tax - Treasury is directed to explore avenues to eliminate the obligation to pay the deferred taxes later Gavin Newsom responded by not lifting the ban on use of red diesel on public roads and has not provided the matching state tax relief By the way ‘Red diesel’ is chemically the same as regular highway diesel; the red dye is just a marker so authorities can tell the highway taxes haven’t been paid So Gavin Newsom is blocking it ONLY to hurt Americans before midterms and not give any financial relief Newsom is a criminal Again, - The California State Department of Tax and Fee Administration says that dyed diesel remains prohibited on California public highways (They will not lift the restriction) - They refuse to suspend the diesel excise tax - Newsom’s deputy press secretary dismisses Trump’s federal order as “more distraction and desperation”
