question for fellow boymoders, what are some clothing items or accessories i can wear at my job that are fem but wont out me as trans?
i work as an engineer in a welding shop so keep in mind it needs to be practical too…
was having such a fun time laughing and bonding with my coworker over lunchbreak that i almost told him im trans. then i realized im basically a prey animal letting myself be lured into an open field

things current and former students of mine have done that they attribute to voice training:
- went on their first date post-transition
- ordered for themself at a restaurant for the first time
- began university getting gendered correctly by strangers for the first time
- came out to their friends/family with confidence
- began reaching out to surgeons to continue other transition steps they long wanted but didn't think they were "woman enough" to do until voice training
- went to a party for the first time in their life
- went to their city's card game locals and made irl friends for the first time since transitioning
- went to their first pride and felt like they could express themselves and cheer in the crowd
- could continue creating online content more comfortable in how they sounded
note how many of these are firsts. so many new experiences that began with trying something a little challenging but ultimately life changing. you got this ✨
This is why we need to stop this nonsense about how “HRT is magic!!!” we are literally setting up people to become crushed and embittered thinking that the meds are all theyll need. this is why i keep urging everyone to take strides towards a better self every day
Replying to @badjujune
far too many trans people are not adequately prepared for the harsh road ahead and struggle to pick themselves up after being smacked by reality. they are left stunned and depressed, bitter at the same crowd who sold them on the idea hrt could conquer their biggest demon. (3/?)
ive never contoured before, this was really informative. Gonna try this weekend!!
I think I’m going to change the way I post here. ik you guys really like the positivity but the current method im using is attracting the wrong crowd and I’m refuting the same arguments on every single post. it’s getting old.
The only upside to boymoding is that its the only way im gonna get affirmed by my coworkers for looking feminine, except its done as hazing so i have to pretend it annoys me
It is antisocial and harmful (to BOTH of you) to repost other tgirl’s selfies with suicidal ideation or seething jealousy. I’ve been on both ends. Being used as a vehicle for someone elses misery isnt cute, and verbalizing this mindset constantly is self destructive
I’ve made the choice to detransition. I realized that this whole time, i was just an individual. My dysphoria isn’t real, I just forgot to be myself. I don’t need hormones :)
you guys really arent gonna like this one but, part of what i mean when i say “put in effort” INCLUDES trying to position yourself in life so that u can save money to afford surgeries
