Can’t believe I’m tweeting my dire financial situation - but here I am speaking at our @Bristol_UCU rally. Being a lecturer is an aspirational job, which we work towards for yrs - our pay doest reflect it. It’s not enough to raise a family. And I’m one of the lucky ones…

Super happy our Ecology Letters paper now is online! We found soil has memories! Soil can remember the historical plant living history and extreme drought. The coolest thing is these memories can have effects on the aboveground insects!!!👉 doi.org/10.1111/ele.14129
