Trust makes people willing to sacrifice. But when that trust is broken, the greatest loss may not belong to those who leave. It may belong to those who gave them a reason to leave.
Pi Core Team, please understand where I’m coming from. I’ve accepted Pi at my business, installed and operated Pi Nodes, run a node farm, and managed a community. I hear directly from the people keeping this ecosystem alive, and I’m bringing their concerns to you. I believe Korea has played a significant role in the Pi community. If even the people who have stayed this long finally leave, what happens then? Surely that cannot be the outcome you want. You continue to promote the figure of 420,000 active nodes. But how closely does that reflect the network today? At Korea’s peak, I estimated that around 40,000–60,000 nodes were active here. After reviewing my own node farm and checking with what I understand to be Korea’s largest node farm, the number operating across those farms is now roughly half of what it used to be. That is a limited sample, but the decline I’m seeing is real. It makes me question whether 420,000 reflects a historical peak rather than current activity. My own rough estimate is that the global active count could now be around 100,000–200,000. This is an estimate based on field observations, not a verified global count. The numbers I can observe continue to decline month after month. If my estimate is wrong, please publish updated figures and clearly explain how “active nodes” are counted. Those of us still here cannot rebuild trust with old numbers and indefinite waiting. We need transparency, direct communication, and a clear path forward. @PiCoreTeam @nkokkalis @Chengdiao

COIXA LAB #13 : SAME QUOTE, DIFFERENT MINIMUM. Before you swap, check the numbers. With 100 PIS entered in Coixa, I changed slippage tolerance from 0.5% to 1%. 📊 Estimated output: 28.46 Test-Pi — unchanged. 🔎 Minimum received: 28.32 → 28.18 Test-Pi. 🐾 New to PiPet? Referral code: 1681694 This example assumes today’s listing prices hold and all bookings and sales happen. Cooldowns increase with use; extra costs and fees are excluded. The 499 PET resale reference has 6 prior breedings; using it after 7 is an assumption. Questions? Reply or DM me.

🎉🎉 If you’re a Pioneer, this is something you absolutely must do. It’s not too late to start, even now. PiPet is currently the best DApp in the Pi Network ecosystem. It may be an uncomfortable truth that some don’t want to admit, but these are the facts. If you need any help, enter my invitation code and send me a DM. I’ll be happy to guide you through everything🙏🙏🙏 @PiSuperChain @PiCoreTeam @coffeedosa

I’m thankful we still have apps like PiPet. A Pi hackathon award winner that has stayed and kept building in this ecosystem for over three years. To me, that is a dApp truly dedicated to Pioneers. But looking around the ecosystem, I worry about how other developers can keep their apps running under current conditions. Without PiDEX, how are projects that depend on token utility and liquidity supposed to build sustainable businesses? How long can teams keep covering costs while waiting? PiDEX alone won’t guarantee success, but developers need a real opportunity to make their projects work. Pi Core Team, please give the people who stayed and built something a clear path forward. Their patience and resources are not unlimited. @PiCoreTeam @nkokkalis @Chengdiao @PiSuperChain

Even community leaders who have been with me for over five years are now walking away from Pi. They tell me, “Pi is completely centralized. There’s no hope left.” I’ve kept asking them to stay: “Let’s at least wait for PiDEX.” But after so much waiting, even those words sound empty. They now feel that their hope is being used to keep them hanging on. Some point to CiDi Games and ask: “Is backing a game and giving it a verification badge really progress? Or is it just encouraging Pioneers to spend whatever Pi they have left?” These are the concerns I’m hearing from people who spent years supporting this community. What am I supposed to tell them now? What concrete progress or clear timeline can I point to? Pi Core Team, we need answers. I cannot keep asking people to believe when I have nothing concrete to show them. @PiCoreTeam @nkokkalis @Chengdiao

Another token appears on Pi Testnet: ALFPay. How much longer will we only get to experience this on Testnet? We keep testing, building, and waiting. Yet the Pi Core Team still leaves us guessing about when PiDEX will reach Mainnet. What still needs to be done? What is holding it back? Please talk to the community. If Pioneers lose hope and leave before PiDEX opens, who will be left to use it? A community’s patience is not unlimited. Neither is its trust.

Pi Network is built on the contributions of millions of Pioneers. Yet communication with the Core Team still feels like a one-way street. We mine, run nodes, build apps, support businesses, and organize communities. But when we ask about priorities, delays, or PiDEX, where is the meaningful dialogue? Pi is not a DAO. That does not excuse keeping the community at a distance. You don’t need a DAO to answer questions, explain decisions, or share clear milestones. After six years in Pi and over a year preparing for PiDEX, I’m tired of trying to read between the lines of announcements. I’m not asking the Core Team to promise a price. I’m asking for openness and accountability. Pioneers deserve to be heard, not simply notified. @PiCoreTeam @nkokkalis @Chengdiao

I welcome Pi Network’s approach to stablecoins and its partnership with Open Standard. Stable payments could help real businesses use Pi’s ecosystem. But the key question is how that activity will create demand for Pi itself. The announcement says Pi must remain central. Now I want to see how that will work in practice. And what does this mean for PiDEX? We’ve spent over a year waiting and preparing. This is a promising direction, but there is still no launch timeline. Please give builders and Pioneers concrete milestones. We need to know when we can actually start using what we’ve been waiting for. @nkokkalis @Chengdiao

February 20, 2027 will mark two years since Pi began trading on CEXs. Are we really going to reach that anniversary still waiting for PiDEX on Mainnet? Pi’s biggest strength has always been its community. But from what I’m seeing in Korea, that community is wearing down. Creators are leaving, groups are going quiet, and people who spent years supporting Pi are losing interest. What good will PiDEX do if it opens after those people have moved on? Pi Core Team, please don’t assume everyone will come back when you finally launch. Trust and enthusiasm don’t return automatically. We need a clear path to launch, and an honest explanation of what is still holding it up. @nkokkalis @Chengdiao

Another new token on Testnet: TRSM. We now have around 280 tokens on Testnet. Pi Core Team, how many more do we need before PiDEX goes live on Mainnet? If token count isn’t the issue, what are we still waiting for? Please give the community a clear answer. @PiCoreTeam @nkokkalis @Chengdiao

Another red day across crypto. BTC, ETH, XRP, XLM… and Pi is falling even harder. Yes, the whole market is struggling. But that alone doesn’t explain Pi’s longer decline. This is why I keep pushing for PiDEX. Give people more reasons to use Pi. Waiting longer won’t create demand by itself. PiDEX won’t guarantee a price recovery, but we need real activity, real users, and a reason to move forward.

This is why I keep calling for PiDEX to launch sooner. How are developers supposed to build better apps if there’s still no real market for their tokens? Why would liquidity providers join without somewhere to trade? Waiting longer doesn’t automatically solve either problem. I don’t agree that opening PiDEX now would send Pi crashing. If that’s your view, explain why. Launchpad puts the Pi used for token purchases into liquidity pools, and useful apps could give people more reasons to hold and use Pi. I’m not saying the price will definitely rise. I’m saying Pi needs a chance to prove its utility in a real market. If the essentials are ready, start with a few projects. If they aren’t, tell us what’s missing and what needs to happen before launch. And if a major burn turns out to be necessary, we can discuss it after PiDEX. Let’s see real demand first. @PiCoreTeam @CoixaFi @PiSuperChain

Does Pi really need a massive token burn? Stellar’s 2019 burn removed roughly 55 billion XLM from the foundation’s holdings after it reassessed its funding needs and giveaway strategy. That was a specific supply-management decision—not a model every network must follow. XRP burns small transaction fees to prevent spam. For its large holdings, Ripple chose escrow to make supply releases more predictable rather than a Stellar-style mass burn. My view: Pi should prioritize transparent supply management and sustained utility demand. Pi Launchpad directs the Pi used for token purchases into initial liquidity pools rather than the project team’s wallet. Combined with useful apps and PiDEX, this could create more reasons to acquire, hold, and use Pi. If that demand outpaces new supply and selling, Pi available at current market prices could become scarce—even without a massive burn. Liquidity pools aren’t burns: Pi can flow back through swaps. Opening PiDEX is only the beginning; lasting demand is what matters. @PiCoreTeam @CoixaFi
