❤📚 Way to go Bridgeport Elementary @Hamilton_BPE ! Stephanie Crouch, a Bridgeport educator, initiated a book drive to connect to her literacy unit on learning challenges. Bridgeport rallied and donated 1,300 books to QCBB! Thank you for increasing book access in our community!

Fourth grade students are getting ready to sell snacks for their community project. They have been collecting donations for the last two weeks and are getting excited. Posters have been made and they are ready to sell!🍿

⭐️BP Weekly Highlight⭐️
Mrs. Ahonen’s 5th grade class participated in a science vocabulary review. They created posters based on the vocabulary word they chose. Students then did a gallery walk where they were able to walk around and see what each other created. 🔬

In 2nd grade, they have been learning chunks and suffixes, comparing and contrasting two versions of the same story using a Venn Diagram, and poetry. In math, money, measuring and comparing two different lengths with one another, and working with graphs!
Shoutout to these Bobcat families for being engaged in the learning process! 🤩💙
