A native shoreline planting is an area of native grasses and perennial flowers planted adjacent to a pond, lake, reservoir, stream, or river. Some plants, called aquatic emergent plants, grow in the water, while others grow on the banks above the waterline. #nativeplants

We're so excited about #Pollinatorweek that we're celebrating it a couple of days early! The next time you snack on the foods you enjoy, thank pollinators (including the monarch butterfly) and the farmers and forestland owners who work hard to create and maintain their habitat.

It’s nesting season for Indiana’s native turtles. Hoosiers may find them crossing roads. Don't keep. All native turtles are regulated in Indiana. Turtles crossing roads may be moved off the roadway. Be safe, and move turtle in direction traveling. 🐢🐢 ow.ly/OGaV50zLCce
