Ham Radio in 30 Days: Zero to Hero is out now.
Built for new & recently licensed hams who:
• Passed the exam
• Still feel unsure getting on the air
• Want a clear, practical path forward
Less theory. More real-world operating.

Remember the good old days of 6m DX, when operators worked across the world on SSB?
Will we ever see those openings again?
I explore solar flux, sunspots, Sporadic E and what to watch for when chasing DX on the Magic Band.

Good friends give each other homework.
We lift each other up and share in goals and successes.
What I know, I want to share with you.
@TeamYouTube I’ve confirmed across 3 devices (desktop, laptop and iOS Studio app), cleared cache etc. Looking back in the iOS app, the performance indicators last appeared on 24 Aug. They’ve been missing since my 28 Aug upload, around the time of the site-wide view count changes
Congrats to my mate @KiloMike9Golf
Yesterday my channel reached both 17,000,000 views and 70,000 subscribers on the same day!
I couldn't do it without all of your support, positivity and encouragement!

Thanks for being awesome!
You probably don’t need another radio.
The best upgrade to your station might be learning how to get more out of what you already own.
Antennas. Propagation. HF. Portable ops. Operating skills.
That’s Ham Radio in 30 Days 👇

Australia has the 2nd highest interest rate in the world!! On the podium.. woohoo! 🏆
#WellDoneGovernment
Kayo is $46/mo.. and I can’t even watch the biggest game of the year in 4K - or even in a high frame rate.
Instead we have to watch it in 1080i at 25fps… on Channel Seven with ads after every goal….yuck!!
Ham Radio on YouTube is hard... my latest video on Ham Radio Club's which carried a really important message had half the audience leave by 1 minute.
It's getting harder to hold people's attention these days...
Since the August view change update, YouTube Studio continues to be broken.
No green/grey circles to indicate performance. “No unresponded comments” except all off them have not been responded too.
At least they fixed the out of 10 issues
What’s happened to the little green/grey arrows to say how my video is performing? Bug or have they been removed? @YouTubeInsider @YouTubeCreators
Hmm.. the new Creator partnerships program YouTube in YouTube is broken for me in the desktop Studio
Missing my latest videos? 📻🎥
YouTube notifications can be hit-and-miss, so I’ve added email alerts for new videos.
Sign up at hamradiodx.net/newsletter and tick the video alerts box.

Anyone else notice the little green arrow/tick is gone from recent uploads? I can't see it in YT Studio or on mobile.
Hmm...
I wonder how long until those external links get removed in favour of all brands being forced to use the YouTube Creator Partnerships and having products tagged manually @lonseidman
YouTube trying to compete with TikTok, Meta Reels and other "first frame" video platforms really overinflates views massively now. Less than 50% actually watched past the first few seconds.
I bet most of these were YouTube autoplay hovering your mouse over a video.

The main thing I've noticed with new radio announcements:
You'll never please everyone - especially the sad hams
