Just had a fantastic kick-off conversation with @Tashi343i talking all things Halo community, giving as much as we possibly can to the fans who've given their time and energy to their favorite franchise. There is so much passion still charged behind the planning of this event, so much love for the Halo family!
The people behind Fest are making some serious magic happen and we couldn't be more stoked to be part of the story. Get excited folks, you've got no idea how much fun this weekend is about to be!

Sharing this more broadly. This week you're going to start seeing comms on official channels again. The focus will be providing info about Halo Fest, celebrating the community and 25 years of Halo, and relevant game info like @HaloSupport has been posting already.
We'll also provide a blog just reconfirming things we've announced and have in plan for Halo Fest. There's a huge amount of Halo fans who are looking forward to the event to attend or watch from home, and we're looking forward to providing a platform for the community to celebrate 25 years of Halo and each other.
We are two months away from our inaugural Halo Community Social event and we've got a lot of info dropping next week about Tournaments, Sponsors, Activities and Streams! Join the hype and tune into the official 2026 playlist!

Meet our partner @scionesports, a pivotal partner in the Halo Community Social experience. Their roots start with Halo 4 in 2012 growing the largest Halo Tournament in Louisiana. They bring their LAN setup and Esports production experience to The Social for one memorable night!

Our next piece of swag has arrived, the Halo Community Social coin - a reward for all our fantastic backers. We will have a few spares to hand out during the social if you didn't have a chance to back the Kickstarter.
Halo Fest isn't canceled and neither are we! With the changes to the Halo franchise, we're changing things up a bit and refocusing our event as a celebration of Halo's legacy.
We're making some key changes to reallocate funding to the LAN activities by cutting the ping pong and foosball tables and the Let's build areas. If people in the local Seattle area want to lend their tables, we will gladly accept that for the evening and complement you with a meal on your ticket.
Speaking of tickets, we've worked with the venue to identify more spaces we can utilize to make this the largest Community-run Halo LAN party! All goes well and we'll have tickets listed next week.
We are looking for people to bring your own console or PC to add more to the fun. If you have modded OG Xboxes, Xbox 360s, Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X, or even spare controllers and screens to bring, please reach out to us!
And you bet we're seeing all the fantastic Halo projects that have popped up over the last couple of days and we're already looking at a few of them being present at the Social!
Staying on mission.
Jumping on here briefly to confirm Halo Fest is still on for December. No changes to dates, locations, etc.
For more details on the event, I'm going to please ask for your patience as our first priority is to provide support and care for our teammates. We will communicate more updates in the coming weeks.
With the recent news of Halo Studios layoffs, we don't know where this leaves Halo Fest or the Halo Community Social. We'll continue to monitor developments and provide any updates to our plans in December. Currently, we continue to push towards an amazing night!
With great honor we are excited to announce that all backers of The Halo Community Social will received this exclusive art piece from the legendary Eddie Smith.
This is our thank you for all the support thus far. We are happy to show you a peak of it today!
We cannot wait for you to get your hands on it this December!
For our Kickstarter Backers, there's been several questions about filling out the survey. One important one is the name for your event ticket. This MUST be the name on your ID that you use when you check in at the event. It is NOT being printed on anything, including badges.
If you haven't filled out your survey yet, head here: kickstarter.com/projects/hal…
