Urban food/free fruit!....This is my Peach tree in my back garden which I've trained flat so it hardly takes up any space πππΌπ β at London, England
So this happened this week,it's far to say that I've run a bit over recent years, especially early morning ones, preferably as the sun rises...πππΌββοΈ

There is something truly magical about running whilst the sun rises π

Yesterday mornings 10 miler, still doing my thing, regularly consuming miles for over 10 years, running is my me time giving me a chance to listen to music. β at Lambeth, London
This is how I start peach trees, I collect the stones from my peaches & after a period of time spent in the fridge /freezer they are ready to crack open & get the seed, I then plant them all in a seed tray & carefully remove and repot the ones that grow (if any!) π€·π»ββοΈππππ» β at Lambeth, London
These are peaches from my tree in a large pot trained flat against a south facing brick wall in my garden, I picked 8 to ripen them and there's still about 15 left on the tree to enjoy the last of the sun. πππππ»
What fruit do you grow or would like to? π€

A nice 10 miler through the dark streets and parks of South London, I love those runs when the sun rises whilst you're running, you should try it at least once in your life I think π€ π β at Lambeth, London
The 2nd cherry pick this week from the same Stella dwarf tree and there is still more to pick from the same tree, it's definitely my most successful cherry harvest to date πππ

My first fruit forest garden harvest this year from 1 of my (Stella) cherry trees. I also have fruit on the apple, fig, pear &
plum trees along with loads of strawberries & raspberries although my apricot, peach & nectarine trees are yet to fruit, maybe next year? π€ π€·ββοΈπ€#gardening β at Lambeth, London
I saw a sparrowhawk in the garden the other day, I was genuinely excited, such a magnificent bird of prey, i remained unseen so I got a good close up view of it for a couple of mins, it made my day π

As someone who's mum died in a care home alone in April 2020 @joelycett sums it up perfectly ππ
Twitter is a place where people seem to like wishing happy birthday to someone who died years ago and who they didn't know personally anyway?! π€ π€·ββοΈ
Some one said to me recently "so what you do a bit of running!" indeed I do as my numbers reflect but what this person fails to understand is that"a bit of running" takes determination, resilience, fortitude & motivation. So if that's what a bit of running entails then so be it.π
My mum always insisted I was a polite child, it's still with me, I often smile at dogs whilst running and earlier I said thank you to the talking Google for a search result!
