…As the world
Rages on
Outside and
Within
Turbulence
And conflict
At every single
Turn
Even time
Will stop
Even time
Will stop
Here…

…Disquiet
In the summer
Disquiet
In the autumn
Checking the rear view
Mirror
For what's
Yet to come
We suffer
For understanding
We suffer
For our art
All the while
Waiting for another place
To start..

Wrap-up all your grievances
In ribbons and in bows
Make your peace with family
And strangers who
Come and go
I’ve no crystal ball
To foresee what’s next
No healing balm
Or magic wand
To make it hurt less…

Of this castle
We were the Lords
Of this land
We ran circles

Captains of industry

Batten down the hatches
Keep out the snow
The cruel world around us
The wicked winds that blow
Through mean streets
Past shelters, where they rest
A million miles and heartaches
From their very best…

Reflecting you now?
Is the mirror
Reflecting you now?
Is the mirror
Reflecting you now?
Or is that merely
A sad distortion

Like a top
You never appreciate
What you’ve got

With a wisp of promise
A regretful longing
We crave this belonging…”
