WE WERE ALL KIDS ONCE. SO WHY DO WE KEEP DOING THINGS TO CHILDREN THAT WE HATED WHEN WE WERE KIDS?
Remember being embarrassed in class? Being picked last? Feeling invisible?
Remember the teacher who made you feel stupid? And the one who made you feel unstoppable?
Remember recess, riding bikes, building forts, exploring the woods, laughing with friends, and asking a million questions?
WHEN DID WE FORGET WHAT IT FELT LIKE TO BE A KID?
10 THINGS WE NEED TO REMEMBER AND CHANGE:
Loved recess? Protect play, movement, and time outdoors.
Feared getting answers wrong? Make mistakes safe. Celebrate trying.
Had an adult who believed in you? Be that person for a child.
Remember being left out? Make sure every child belongs.
Hated watching the clock? Make learning engaging, creative, and FUN.
Loved exploring and inventing? Give kids freedom to imagine, discover, and play.
Remember how HUGE your problems felt? Listen. Their feelings matter.
Loved asking questions? Encourage curiosity, not just compliance.
Hated when adults wouldn’t listen? Give children a voice and meaningful choices.
Wanted someone to be proud of you? Celebrate WHO kids are, not just WHAT they achieve.
TO EVERY TEACHER, PRINCIPAL, AND PARENT:
Before correcting, remember embarrassment.
Before punishing, remember wanting to be heard.
Before demanding perfection, remember fearing failure.
Before giving up, remember the person who believed in you.
LET’S STOP SACRIFICING CHILDHOOD IN THE NAME OF PREPARING CHILDREN FOR ADULTHOOD.
Protect their curiosity.
Encourage their creativity.
Build their confidence.
Celebrate their differences.
Make learning an adventure.
MASLOW BEFORE BLOOM.
Connection before correction.
Curiosity before compliance.
People before performance.
KIDS HAVE THEIR ENTIRE LIVES TO BE ADULTS. THEY ONLY GET ONE CHILDHOOD.
BE THE ADULT YOU NEEDED WHEN YOU WERE A KID.
What’s something an adult did when you were a child that you promised yourself you’d NEVER do to a kid?

JUST IN: The United States Supreme Court steps in and allows Virginia to remove non-citizens from its voting rolls.
It is absurd the Supreme Court had to get involved in the first place.
It is ILLEGAL for non-citizens to vote in U.S. elections!

Talarico says “The Bible is silent on the issue of abortion,” which is absolutely not true. It exists in the Old and New Testaments, in addition to Psalms.

This preacher says the most realist things I have ever heard about the Democratic Party.
Every single word is TRUE. 🔥🔥

"By mixing a little truth with it they had made their lie far stronger." – C.S. Lewis
This quote sums up James Talarico's deceptive blend of Christianity and politics perfectly.

Actress Jenny McCarthy says Charlie Kirk helped strengthen her Christian faith: “When he was shot, I completely surrendered. I am so devoted. I just want Charlie to know that he changed the world.”

Only in California.
A San Jose pastor hands out FREE groceries to over 1,000 people a week. The city just told him: shut it down in 60 days or pay up to $20,000 PER DAY.
PASTOR RALPH OLMOS: “Do I stand with the people? Do I stop? And do I stop doing the thing that it seems like God has put me here for?”
What's the violation? The block is zoned residential, and the line of people waiting for food spills onto the sidewalk. The city says the pantry needs a special use permit. Price tag: up to $15,500.
Pastor Ralph turned an old liquor store, with two meth labs next door, into a free grocery line. And people on the sidewalk is what the city has a problem with.
What good deed will California find to make illegal next?

Mike Rogers just put Abdul El-Sayed on the SPOT over his refusal to condemn the IRGC.
And his closing line was BRUTAL.
Last month, a Persian University of Michigan student confronted El-Sayed about the Iranian regime.
He danced around the question without condemning the terrorist organization.
Rogers brought it up again during tonight’s debate, and he wasn’t about to let the issue slide.
El-Sayed was, once again, noticeably quiet.
ROGERS: “My opponent here would not condemn IRGC, which today is hanging two 19 year-old kids for saying that they want freedom in their homeland.”
“This is the same IRGC that has killed American troops in Iraq. That has blood on their hands, tried a terrorist attack here in the United States.”
“If you can’t condemn the IRGC, you have no business in the United States Senate!”
Exactly.
If you want a seat in the U.S. Senate, Rogers says, you should be able to condemn the IRGC.

Jim Nantz left beyond impressed that Willie Fritz showed up for this UH Hall of Honor night with a game looming: "How about Willie Fritz coming in here tonight," Nantz tells @PaperCityMag. "You know he had meetings. He has a game at 11 in the morning. And he showed up, I'm sure to be there for Kelvin (Sampson).
"Willie Fritz is an incredible person. And we are so well coached. And to have this combo. Willie Kelvin. Kelvin Willie. It's a great time at the University of Houston. These are great days."

Scott pulls out the archives to look back at old Barack Obama campaign commercials advocating for coal, the 2nd Amendment, AND putting a stop to illegal immigration. WILD just how drastically the Democratic Party’s platform has shifted over the years.

Why would anyone vote for someone who wouldn’t even show up to defend their own political positions? If you haven’t figured it out by now, it’s because those positions are indefensible.
They count on their voters being lazy and uninformed.
Peggy Flanagan didn’t show for our debate because she can’t defend her incompetence and failure, the same record that led Tim Walz to withdraw from his race.
It was a pleasure to join Tom Hauser and KSTP to provide straight talk about the new leadership Minnesota needs.
I’m running for the U.S. Senate to bring common sense and accountability to Washington and put Minnesotans first.

People never expected this race to be close.
Now we’re surging—just one month before Election Day.
Minnesotans are seeing through the excuses. Peggy Flanagan is part of the problem, not the solution—and she can’t run from the record.
31 days. Every vote matters. Get registered. Make a plan. Vote.
Let’s make history in Minnesota.
