🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer has affected my family, so I know how important it is to check yourself regularly. Know what’s normal for you and speak to your GP about any changes. Don’t ignore them. Get checked. 💗 #BreastCancerAwar#EarlyDetection

What once was still lives in my heart. Missed every day, forever grateful for the memories we made and the love we shared. Thinking my beautiful Lyndsey today on what would have been our 17th wedding anniversary. XXX youtu.be/uTaZNSHR2Mo?si=4vOC…

🩸 I would take blood if I needed it. Would you? I watched someone I love receive blood they desperately needed. It showed me just how vital donors are. ❤️ 📍 Carrickfergus Town Hall 📅 Mon 17 & Wed 26 Aug 🩸 NI hospitals need 1,200 donors every week. Give Blood

love this picture. At first glance, things can look unfair… Stop and think, it’s not about treating everyone the same, it’s about giving people what they need. Equality gives everyone the same. Equity gives everyone the opportunity to succeed.

This day last year, Leah and I had the privilege of hosting Cancer Fund for Children’s Say Their Name report. Today, one year on, we’re heading to Skydive Ireland to watch Leah jump out of a plane in memory of her amazing mum, Lyndsey. Leah, I am so incredibly proud of you, even though you’re completely mad! 💛✈️ Thank you to every single person who has donated. Raising over £1,000 is simply amazing and will make a huge difference to Cancer Fund for Children so they can continue to support families the way they did for us when we needed them most. #BereavementSupport #TogetherThroughCancer #skydive #Proud #SayTheirName justgiving.com/page/skydivin…
We truly appreciated being part of such an amazing and important event, especially after being supported by this incredible and long-standing charity. 💛 The work they do is a vital lifeline for families like ours, support that leaves a lasting impact in the moments when it’s needed most. Its Learning Disability week… Learning Disability Week is a chance to celebrate the amazing people I have the privilege of working with every day. They see people for who they are, build trust, and show strength, resilience, and kindness in so many ways. I’m incredibly grateful for the lessons they’ve taught me and can honestly say I’m a better person because of them. #LearningDisabilityWeek #LearningDisabilityWeek2026 #SeeThePerson #LDW26 #Inclusion #Acceptance #Respect #Trust #Kindness #Equality #LearningDisabilityAwareness #CelebrateDifferences #SocialCare #ProudToCare #Grateful #MakingADifference #BetterTogether 💜

Today is World Down Syndrome Day, a day to celebrate those who have Down syndrome, their strength, their joy, and their incredible contributions to our world. We wear our odd socks today as a symbol that different is beautiful, but let’s not stop here. True inclusion isn’t just about a day, it’s about challenging misconceptions every single day. It’s about ensuring that people with Down syndrome are seen, heard, valued, and given every opportunity to thrive. For those of us who have the privilege of working with or loving someone with Down syndrome, we know this: they show us what unconditional love truly is. Their kindness, joy, and honesty remind us of the best parts of being human. So today, and every day, let’s not just celebrate differences, let’s embrace, empower, and uplift the people who make our world brighter simply by being in it. #WorldDownSyndromeDay #WDSD26 #InclusionMatters #CelebrateDifferences #DifferentIsBeautiful #AcceptanceForAll #NothingDownAboutIt #EmbraceInclusion #UnconditionalLove #OddSocks #ChallengeMisconceptions

Bittersweet visiting the @Mencap_NI centre today. It was great to see so many people turn up but sad to say goodbye to Grainne as she moves on. Grainne has done some amazing work with Mencap and has clearly made a huge impact ! she’ll be missed by many. Keep in touch, and all the very best in your new role. Go smash it, as you always do! 💪
