Andy Hug was a 5th degree black belt in Kyokushin Karate. He was champion of the 1996 K-1 World Grand Prix, as well as runner-up in 1997 and 1998. Known in Japan as "The Blue-Eyed Samurai" he died at only 35 years old, an incredible loss for the sport. We will never forget him.
