That's why after your first successful games you should aim at making ur own studio and release a bunch of games to keep a stable revenue for long time 1 fail but others are still doing good
Roblox is both a great and a terrible business, and not many people realise it. The upside: once you have a bit of experience, one game can make you high five figures in a month. It’s fast money. The downside: that same game can make nothing the next month. Revenue is easy to get but hard to keep, so there’s no stability. Roblox has no safety net beyond “keep making games,” and it can terminate you and your income at any time. If you have no other business on the side, that’s a real risk. The misconception: outsiders think it’s easy because “it’s a kids game” and some games make millions. But those monthly millions belong to the top 1-20 games, if not fewer. Tens of thousands a month with one game is realistic, but it’s far from the norm. My advice: if you don’t play Roblox yourself, your chances are very, very low. I’ve never seen someone who didn’t play make even 10k lifetime. Hot take, but if you’re not already a player, don’t get into the space. It’s a waste of time. The bottom line: other businesses can earn more, and more reliably. They just take more time, effort and knowledge. Roblox is quick money for people who know what they’re’re doing, but the deeper you go, the more dangerous it gets.

The biggest thing Roblox taught me is to trust the process. You won't always see results immediately. You'll fail, make mistakes, lose motivation, and feel like you're going nowhere. But every experience teaches you. Keep learning, keep improving, and trust the process. 💯

People hating on him just because he uses AI to code either: 1. Know nothing about AI. 2. Have never actually used it. 3. Have an ego so fragile that AI's existence bothers them. And last they are not even game developers to understand.
Replying to @pixieefaee
For code only... none of the art is made with AI, not even concepts, animations, or any UI. At this point there are no more Roblox games without AI code, MM2 is prob one of the most human made game rn because of the art

anyone making a game should do the same thing AI became too good that anyone can recreate another game using AI and publish it before the original game for profit so hide your game, polish it and start advertising about it 2 weeks or less before release.
A developer canceled a planned public demo over worries that AI could copy the game and release a clone first. Drunken Goddess Reflux was set for a public demo on October 19. Alliance Arts will instead run a closed playtest with restrictions on sharing and streaming. The studio says the issue goes beyond piracy. They fear players could study the demo’s gameplay and presentation, then use AI to clone it “We are concerned that… works imitating or replicating this game’s presentation and gameplay could be quickly produced using AI or other tools and released ahead of the game’s launch.”

Genius way to make quick profit hahaha
Two developers have turned Steam’s 2-hour refund window into an actual game. Refund This Game is a $5 first-person platformer inspired by Getting Over It, the goal is simple: reach the top in under two hours, then you can refund the game. The developers say the game was inspired by the debate around Steam’s refund policy this summer. “We celebrate players’ right to refund games.” There’s even a timer and an achievement for finishing in under two hours. Some players have already managed to beat it and get their money back.

If you're a Roblox developer and all you've ever made is slop games, without ONCE making a game you're genuinely passionate about, that's just sad. At that point, you're not making games because you love game development. You're just chasing money.

Most Roblox games don’t die because the idea was bad. They die because the developer tried to build the “full game” before proving the first 5 minutes were actually fun. A polished bad gameplay loop is still a bad game.

If you're a Roblox developer in 2026 and you're still refusing to use AI in your workflow, you're falling behind. You don't have to let AI make your entire game. But learn how to use it before everyone else does.
