We need to also consider the lack of pay equality for sportswomen around the world. Too long have we had to prove our worth!!@GayGames @HackneyWFC @GayGamesHK2022 @FIFAWWC
Playing (and celebrating) like a girl never looked so good. Equal pay for equal play at the #USWNTParade. Which players inspire you? #OneNationOneTeam #USWNT

Football is the #GameOfOurLives, where all communities ought to be recognised.
@HackneyWFC epitomise this as one of the first female-run, openly lesbian teams in the UK.
Inclusivity is the name of their game, as shown by the logo on their pennant. 🌈

Founded in 1986, @HackneyWFC were the first openly lesbian team in London, and were in attendance at six of these tournaments.
Their old logo encapsulates their fair play ethos and inclusive approach to the game. 🤝
