Compared to Fiore, Oliwia's acting a lot more immature at the very start of dc5, throwing off challenges on purpose and sabotaging her own team, despite being twice as Fiore's age. Even though she DID improve slightly afterwards, I always disliked her actions and look(no judging)

That is exactly what I think: Where others see a character with "too many romantic storylines" or "fanservice." I see for the first time in Western animation a queer man learning what love is through various experiences, something I had always only seen in heterosexual contexts.

i dont try being dismissive on people's age, but a lot of people's bad takes on queer representation in fiction and fandom acceptance comes from basically being young enough actually getting to see queer ppl in kids cartoons, with no grasp how heavy censorship shape media before.
