Posts from this library are getting to be difficult for all sorts of reasons. It once was such a good platform for engaging with other bookfolk and chums but times they are a-changing and it's probably time to go. Will miss it. It's been a blast.
Oh no there isn't. This happened last summer as well. Where do they go? Is there a black market in pilfered newspaper supplements? #TheGuardian

I've been hiding away in beautiful Mallorca and reading all 8 books on the Carnegie shortlist. What a feast of wonderful talent. May all the books be shared and loved by young readers. – at Pollença, Spain
We'd like to have a #CarnegieMedal quiz for tomorrow's winner announcement party but time is running out. Have any of you ace #Librarians got a 2024 quiz we could borrow? If I get ours done in time I will share it!
Just met one of our Y8 keen readers in the corridor. He's been gobbling up @anthony_mcgowan 's Nicky & Kenny Quartet and has just finished the last one. His 2-word review: "Lark's sad." A cracking series with a very moving conclusion.
At last there's a collective noun for us: a disreputability of librarians. @patrick_ness @uksla
Well, that was fun! Thanks @uksla and all involved in #LibrariesUnleashed for a brilliant couple of days in Sheffield.
Not so sunny this morning, and beyond frustrating to miss today's first session of @uksla #LibrariesUnleashed in Sheffield because the train is inexplicably cancelled. Cheers, Northern Rail.
Excellent day in sunny #Sheffield with a plethora of librarians enjoying Day 1 of the @uksla #LibrariesUnleashed Conference. @patrick_ness was a proper highlight. More learning, hobnobbing, freebies and inspiration tomorrow. Bring it on!
After a brief hiaitus following a mix-up with The Great Provider over this library's date of birth, we are back. A bit older than before, but back. Twitter [sic] friends we've missed you.
Year 11s don't get much better than this. I'm going to miss them all but particularly this one. #LeaversDay #SchoolsOut #Year11
Our Y11s officially leave tomorrow and we're waiting to see how many rock up in their tractors, as is the custom hereabouts.
And as usual, they've only been here about 5 minutes. #TempusFugit

We have lovely colourful vinyl seating in our library, installed by Demco in 2018. Once a small hole appears, our library 'mice' mine their way in and pick out the foam inside. Flexible spine tape helps, but doesn't stop them. Any ideas, #librarian folk?
Grappled with #genre at today's @Bookasaurus book club and came up with some ideas for new categories and fresh designs. How do you decide on a book's genre anyway? And how do you depict #dystopia? 🤔
