NVIDIA and Germany’s Jülich Supercomputing Centre set a record by simulating a 50-qubit universal quantum computer on the JUPITER supercomputer, advancing research toward fault-tolerant quantum computing.
NVIDIA is also partnered with Infleqtion through its NVQLink platform, integrating neutral-atom quantum processors with GPU infrastructure for real-time quantum error correction and hybrid computing.

Pakistan's GDP growth slowed to 2.0% in the April-June quarter from 4.42% in Jan-March, missing the 3.5% forecast, as soaring energy prices and disrupted Qatari LNG supply via Hormuz hit its industry hard. #Pakistan #LNG #Hormuz #Energy

The same people that complain about the cost of living want the government to spend more printing money.
Until citizens understand that inflation is not rising prices but the demolition of the currency's purchasing power and that interventionist governments are the creators and main beneficiaries of inflation, they will always be tricked.
Less government, more affordability. The end.

Goldman Sachs raised global server TAM by 31% for 2027 and 45% for 2028E, driven by generative AI infrastructure.
AI server shipments are climbing sharply; NVL72 racks to 164k and 8-GPU systems to 3.3m by 2028, implying 38m AI chips with ~60% ASIC penetration.
CSP capex and foundry capacity are rising, fueling a clear AI hardware upcycle.
GS raise global servers TAM by 31% / 45% in 2027 / 28E across general servers
and AI servers to reflect the ongoing generative AI infrastructure investments and
specification upgrades:
(1) General servers: raised value by 17% / 11% in 2027 / 28E with both shipment and
ASP raised. GS expect general servers shipment to grow at 20% / 12% / 8% YoY in
2026-28E.
(2) AI servers (NVL72, powered by NV & AMD): shipment raised by 5% / 1% to 110k /
164k racks in 2027 / 28E.
(3) AI servers (8-GPU, powered by GPU & ASIC): shipment raised by 10% / 29% to
2.7m / 3.3m servers in 2027 / 28E. GS new AI servers shipment forecasts imply AI
chip demand of 18m / 29m / 38m in 2026-28E, or a ~60% / ~50% ASIC penetration
rate globally / global-tier in 2028E. GS continue to see a rise across CSP capex,
fabless shipment, and foundry capacity, driving an AI infrastructure upcycle.

India paid $15.4B for crude imports in September, up 46% from $10.5B a year ago, while volumes rose just 7%. Its crude basket averaged $116.09/bbl, above April's Hormuz-peak $114.48, and October is tracking higher. #OilPrice #India #Crude

Africa's gold belt, by output
Ghana mined 149.8 tonnes of gold in 2024 — more than any other African country. The West African belt follows: Guinea 73.0t, Mali 66.7t, Burkina Faso 60.8t and Côte d'Ivoire 52.0t.

HSBC sees custom AI chips accounting for 57% of HBM demand by 2028 as $GOOGL, $AMZN and $META move more AI workloads onto their own silicon.
But this isn't necessarily bearish for $NVDA or $AMD because HBM market is projected to grow from ~$64B in 2026 to ~$280B in 2028 meaning GPU demand for HBM could still nearly triple even as custom chips take share.
That creates a much bigger opportunity for $AVGO and $MRVL in custom chip design while $MU and $SKHY supply memory and $TSM manufactures the chips behind both.

The India Macro Dashboard for Oct’26 is out.
We had been warning that rising WPI would eventually spill over into CPI. CPI has now come in at 5.54%, a 23-month high.
WPI remains elevated at 11.39%, which suggests the pain is not over and inflation could rise further.
The RBI has responded with a 25 bps hike to 5.5%, its first hike since February 2023. It remains to be seen how effective rate hikes are against a supply-side inflation shock.
Banking liquidity has been drained in line with this, falling from over Rs 11 trillion in early September to about Rs 4.9 trillion by month-end.
On the positive side, vehicle registrations grew 31.85% YoY, GST collections rose 14.7% YoY, and both Manufacturing PMI (55.1) and Services PMI (55.2) improved.
Demand is holding up, but inflation remains the key risk.
