.@SECWAR "The days of the Pentagon rewarding the comfortable old guard for failure are over. Rewarding the same contracts, the same people who have the most lobbyists and the most political connections ARE OVER. We don’t care whose name is on the side of that capability. We simply want the best."

Friends, a pet is not an adequate substitute for another person—and I say that as a dog lover! We’re the animal that speaks, and that’s where human contact is made. “Cor ad cor loquitur,” says St. John Henry Newman’s famous motto. “Heart speaks to heart.” You’re not going to find that with a dog or with your computer screen. You can only find it in conversation with another.

The Constitution Pipeline in the news this week is the poster child for why we need permit reform. At 125 miles, its 1/10 the length of other controversial pipelines like Keystone or Dakota. What it does is link Marcellus natural gas production in PA to existing pipeline networks already serving markets from Massachusetts to Maine. The stated capacity is enough gas to meet the daily needs of 3 million homes in the Northeast. 125 miles for 3 million homes? That's a pretty fair trade off. For three decades (1979-2011) governments killed a major oil or gas pipeline only about once every ten years But from 2016 to 2021 one pipeline project a year in the NE cancelled - primarily using the same playbook. Deny permits, drag out approvals, litigate and wait them out. We've been trying to build the Constitution pipeline since 2012 - almost 15 years. This week, the decision was made that reliable energy in Northeast is in the nation's economic and national security interest. Permit reform is in our national interest as well. The public knows that too. That's why it supports permit reform.

This is how you know my recordings are real and they're scared. Washington Post already doing counter-messaging. "A small group of U.S. national security officials has been discreetly advising state governments and congressional lawmakers on how to prepare for the possibility that the Trump administration will attempt to interfere in November’s midterm elections, according to people involved in the effort. The group includes about 10 current and former officials with experience in the Defense Department, some of whom have previously focused on countering authoritarianism abroad."

Not every Democrat is advocating dismembering our constitutional form of government, but EVERY Democrat is playing a part in the sedition! It's kind of like parenthood... No, you didn't buy your child a gun, but you ignored all the warning signs and behaviors. If you vote for even one Democrat., you are ignoring all the warning signs and behaviors!

U.S. weather satellite capabilities are already more than a decade behind the rest of the world (China, Europe) as we won't have a hyperspectral sounder (GXS) until the 2030s. Europe just launched Meteosat 13 and it went live last week with the newest technology. China's launched in 2021. Sadly, NOAA has always suffered from extremely poor leadership when it comes to satellites, weather modeling, R2O, and pretty much everything else. That may seem unfair, but you can't ignore the results: delays, cost overruns, and failures. It's just how that agency has evolved in the past few decades based upon the career employees elevated to manage it. It's nearly impossible to overcome those built in roadblocks to progress, and heaven help anyone that tries.

That was a federal program, not a state program. We are the first state to do our own program, which we debuted after Ian in 2022. FEMA would never be able to deliver trailers within ten weeks of a storm, much less ten days.

Overthrowing governments is well out of the nation-state only category thanks to traitorous ex-USAID employees.
🧵🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: International actors are involved in the State Department led color revolution 🚨🚨 This is not speculation; it’s straight from a recorded call. Ex-USAID employees describe how, before January 20, they moved internal groups off government systems and into encrypted Signal chats, then quickly linked with foreign partners and NGOs after the inauguration. This attempt at creating a color revolution isn't new news; this part was already reported in NOTUS earlier this year. But what's not reported is the international aspect. One participant explicitly frames it as "a global anti-authoritarian movement," connecting U.S. officials with "colleagues from around the world who have dealt with this directly." They reference coordination with Johns Hopkins, "international democracy and conflict mitigation spaces," and efforts to mobilize across borders against what they perceive as domestic authoritarianism. At what point does this become treason? As always, patience as I pull together this thread. 👇

It’s not every day you stumble across a recording in which U.S. citizens discuss plans to declare the federal government illegitimate. Here’s one particularly alarming excerpt: “If the federal government’s deemed to be illegitimate … then the governors become the leading governing authority under the current republic framework of our Constitution.” And then there’s this one: “I really want to emphasize this is not a concept for a secession. No one is talking about leaving the United States.” Of course they’re not “talking about leaving the United States”; they’re talking about a planned transfer of governing authority outside the constitutional process—replacing the authority of the federal government with governors and outside networks. I hope this turns out to be a deep fake or a bad practical joke—because if it’s real, it’s unbelievably frightening. Either way, it’s a good reminder to vote carefully in November.
🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 2: WHEN AND HOW TO DECLARE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ILLEGITIMATE 🚨 Some questioned whether a group of 200 ex-USAID officials could actually pull off their ambitions to rewrite the Constitution. Here, they describe exactly how it works. They aren't working alone. The videos all come from Renew to Thrive (R2T) group and associates. Danielle Reiff and Paul Zeitz play key roles within R2T. R2T sits inside a much, much larger umbrella called United Democracy Alliance (UDA), which is an extremely hush-hush control plane of leaders from major "blocking" NGOs such as 50501 and Indivisible fulfilling various functions. UDA decides when protests get deployed, timelines, how to respond, all that. R2T's role within UDA is concerned with "the day after tomorrow" - in other words, their function is to conceive what a rewritten American government will look like after the rest of UDA fulfills its purpose. As will be shown, Erica Chenoworth is credited with conceiving UDA in the first place under the Horizons "Big Tent" initiative. Note here that National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) is credited for operationalizing UDA. NSL4A is a group of 1,600 ex-military, intelligence, and diplomatic officials. They are led by Rear Admiral Michael E. Smith (Ret). NSL4A also played a key role in the "illegal orders" messaging which targeted Pete Hegseth. Zeitz is also a member of NSL4A. It must be emphasized that the choice of a military-oriented organization to coordinate NGOs across domestic protests is an interesting one all in itself - especially in an umbrella conceived by a regime change expert like Chenoworth. You will have a hard time finding any mentions of UDA in the public. They are extremely hush-hush and selective who they talk to. Mike Smith himself makes a personal appearance in other calls, coordinating Insurrection Act exercises and roleplaying with R2G as one of the participants. As the audio transcript shows, they have outlined a sequence of "redlines" in which case the federal government should be declared illegitimate. Invoking the Insurrection Act against "peaceful" protesters is one of the most discussed redlines. I will post the illegitimate criteria below, but basically, almost any effective pushback against NGOs is a measure of illegitimacy according to them. Important to understand: The audio shows they shopped this idea around governors, but the reality is that governors do not have to explicitly sign on to the pact to play their role in the coup. All they have to do is refuse troops in their state and let UDA / R2G do the work of dissolving the federal government.

I got in the car at the airport and the seat was laid flat so that I was not visible. The driver changed into the uniform of a police officer hoping we’d be waved through military checkpoints. Then we hit the open roads to drive some 6- hours north — on African roads. The open country is where the real danger lurks. Fulani herdsmen or Boko Haram, both Muslim terrorist groups, are known to throw obstacles out into your path — burning tires, spike strips, anything. When you brake hard and hit reverse, another group, armed with AK47s, comes out of hiding and throws obstacles behind you. If you don’t stop, they will simply riddle the car with bullets. Unless you are very lucky, you are trapped. The goal is hostages, especially Christians and Westerners. They kidnap you and send your body parts bit by bloody bit to your family demanding payment for your release. The government and the UN are both corrupt and look the other way. We stop for gas. I’m noticed by children. Word spreads rapidly that a white man, seldom seen in the north, is in that car. Soon the car is mobbed by people pressing theirs noses to the windows to peer in. Some are shouting and knocking on the glass. Most of it is just curiosity and not malevolence. I get out and walk around. They press against me, and I push them off. Hard. You get used to it, but you must make them respect your space. (Muslims will do the same in Hyde Park. You’ll never see a knife coming if you allow that.) In those parts of the world that are dangerous for Americans, you must be wary of the children. Watch them. In South America, for instance, many are in the employ of the cartels. It’s no different in Africa or the Middle East. They are given cell phones, some money or candy or some other incentive, and told to report anything unusual. If you see one looking at you and reach for a cell phone, it should trigger alarms in your head. It’s time to move. Fast. We drive on past burning villages, through desert country, and finally to a compound where I am locked in from the outside. The windows are heavily barred. If there’s a fire, I cannot escape. Welcome to West Africa. The Christians who house me often do so at considerable risk. As an American, I’m deemed to be valuable if kidnapped. They would likely be killed. They are courageous, extraordinary people. They tell me stories of family members murdered: boys and men shot or killed with machetes; women raped and mutilated, and girls taken into sex slavery. This is daily life for them and has been since ~2000, and intensifying in 2012 and after. Yet many are joyful, warm, good humored, and hopeful. They want to know how many are with me and if America is going to send them help. It pains me to say that I am alone and probably not. They look downcast, but quickly cheer up and move to other topics. I speak in their churches on apologetics, but the apologetics they need is of the physical type. I preach in the cathedral on hope. Muslims gather round the church and stare through the windows to intimidate. The cathedral had once been bombed. We press on and sing in defiance. When I am finished many are emotional, thankful, as if I had preached the most wonderful sermon. I had not. It was hot, stuff, the sound was poor, and the distractions many. But that was beside the point for them. My simply being there, risking something on their behalf, that’s what mattered more than any words. Pray for these people who suffer under the sword of Islam.
In Plateau State, Nigeria, to speak to and encourage the beautiful Christians there who suffer under the sword of Islam. They had to hide me in cars and homes. The sheer scale of the terror beggars belief. Can you spot me?

Just returned from the Annapolis Sailboat Show. Here’s the good, the bad, and the ugly. The good: A fantastic weekend. I’m preparing my Tanton 43 for a serious ocean voyage, and the best part was having real experts at the booths who could answer tough technical questions. The people, yachts, and setting were excellent. The rest was depressing. I’ve attended this show since the ’90s, and it keeps shrinking. It’s still substantial, with specialists in almost every field, but the depth of competition is disappearing. Only three diesel manufacturers had dedicated booths. Major names like Volvo Penta and Westerbeke were absent. My favorite, Beta Marine, displayed four engines, but hardly its full lineup. Mercury and Suzuki were missing, too, although new electric outboard brands showed up. The clientele looked far wealthier than 30 years ago. The middle class has either left sailing or can no longer afford major upgrades to aging boats. The ugly: Sailboat sales are tanking. Of the 40,000+ new boats sold in the wealthiest country on Earth last year, fewer than 400 were sailboats. Used prices are collapsing, too. Weeks ago I shared one of my five dream yachts, now listed for $89,000. A few years back it would have commanded hundreds of thousands. I’ve seen gorgeous, well-maintained bluewater yachts from the ’70s through ’90s for $20,000–$30,000, and newer yachts from the 2000s and 2010s for $60,000–$80,000 if you know where to look. Why? Insurance restrictions, marinas filled by the COVID buying boom, rising costs, and fewer people with time to learn to sail. Those with spare time increasingly prefer turning a key on a powerboat and going. Catamarans are propping up the market, but insurance and dockage for that beam are outrageous. With two big engines and tiny sails, many feel more like powerboats with masts. But the deeper problem is design. Everything looks dated. We are LONG overdue for a revolution. 1960s: Fiberglass transforms boatbuilding. 1970s: Robert Perry and others develop capable new offshore hulls. 1980s: Taiwanese yards deliver gorgeous teak interiors and craftsmanship. 1990s: Racing innovations make cruising boats faster. 2000s: Wide sterns create generous deck space. 2010s: Lighter interiors and large windows make boats faster, brighter, roomier. Since then? Precious little. I remember visiting Disney in the ’90s in our Ford Taurus. Its rounded windows and digital dashboard felt futuristic, but Tomorrowland looked decades old. My dad called it “the future from the ’70s.” That’s exactly how this boat show felt. Even multimillion-dollar Swans and Oysters had rounded edges, ugly oversized windows, and millennial-gray interiors. Giant screens and TVs everywhere, as if we go sailing for MORE screen time. Those windows were exciting 15 years ago. Now LEDs can brighten a cabin without turning it into a glass box. Who wants to spend a million dollars on a floating Hilton Home2 Suites? I boarded a $2.5 million yacht with flimsy plastic hatches that looked ready to blow out in the first 20-foot wave. When I challenged the salesman, he lectured me about eco-friendly materials and saving diesel through weight reduction. 🙄 Give us fast, computer-designed hulls, not cost-cutting eco-trash dressed up in six shades of gray. The cure is simple: Use modern engineering to build boats that are rugged, fast, and classically beautiful. We don’t want plastic. We want brass. Figure out how to 3D-print it. We don’t want an iPad holder. Give us a proper place for a sextant. We don’t want a 60-inch TV. Give us a better dodger, built with advanced clear materials, so we can sit outside, protected, and enjoy the actual ocean. Stop designing floating hotel rooms. Start building yachts that make people dream of going to sea. Harden the lines, engineer quality, lower the cost of luxury, use natural instead of eco materials. Make a model nornies can afford. Call me. I’ll design the next gen yacht!

🧵 THREAD: The true reason Pete Hegseth is being targeted is because he's standing between President Trump and a coup @PeteHegseth named the institutions... CFR, Brookings, the general class... in 37 seconds in a video by @Liz_Wheeler . Within 72 hours of his nomination, a color revolution planning document cited him as an insider threat. They didn't go after him because of drinking. They didn't go after him because of women. They went after him because every color revolution manual ever written says the same thing: you cannot topple a government unless the security forces defect. And a loyal Secretary of Defense is the one person who makes sure they don't. I have the receipts. Their own documents. Their own training sessions. Their own words on camera. As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇

This article is "factually inverted" and opposite of what happened. The Trump administration refocused the GeoXO satellite program back to weather forecasting undoing Biden admin additions that risked the whole program. This story is a complete fabrication.
The Trump administration’s cuts to weather satellites will set the country back nearly a decade, experts say. The loss of data used to observe, forecast and research extreme weather could prevent the US from making major advances in weather prediction in the coming years. cnn.it/4k6eD4o
