This collection of 10 manuscripts is an output of our #MPHISOR certificate course (year 2 of ICMR-NIE TB #SORTIT course 2024-26). Through #MPHISOR, mentees did not just identify a problem but attempted to address it, to increase the chances of achieving even greater policy/practice change.

3 observations on #TB from my recent travels. First, earlier diagnosis by referral to the right govt diagnostic centres. 2nd, reduce deaths by good clinical care & admission. Third, Collectors to review 3 KPIs on TB regularly. #TBHarega @MoHFW_INDIA @ICMRDELHI @DCsofIndia

Rajdeep just said what every honest Indian is thinking 🔥
"Show me the evidence of foreign funding, not the insinuation."
That one line exposed the whole game.
Look at the pattern:
> Students march against the CEC: "foreign hand"
> Citizens ask where their votes went: "foreign funding"
> The opposition holds a rally: "regime change conspiracy"
But where's the evidence? Not one name, not one transaction, not one chargesheet.
Think about it for a second.
> The government has the ED, the CBI, the NIA, the IB, all of it
> If there's really foreign money behind this, prove it in court
> If you can't prove it, then stop calling your own citizens traitors
The "foreign hand" is just a costume they wear to dodge questions.
Rajdeep put it right: investigate a foreign hand if there's evidence, but don't use it to deflect questions about the government's own actions.
Asking questions doesn't make you anti-national. Running away from answers is what's anti-democracy.
Show the evidence or stop the drama 🗿🔥

Former CEC Dr. S.Y. Quraishi told Dhruv Rathee a story about Dr. Manmohan Singh that every Indian should hear.
Quraishi's EC took action against 4 Congress ministers, including the sitting Law Minister. Some Congress leaders started bad-mouthing the EC after that.
Quraishi sent a message to the PM through his media advisor Harish Khare: stop this.
The very next day:
> Manmohan Singh called him in a panic. "Quraishi sahab, I want to meet you immediately"
> The moment they sat down, he said that if Quraishi thought he was encouraging this loose talk, he would step down
> Quraishi said he was shaken, and it took him 25 minutes to calm the PM down
A sitting Prime Minister ready to quit because someone might think he had disrespected the Election Commission.
Think about it for a second.
> Then: the EC acted against the ruling party's own Law Minister, and the PM stood by the EC
> Now: the CEC is picked by a panel the PM controls, and the CJI was removed from it
> Then: the PM worried about insulting the EC
> Now: the EC looks like it's worried about upsetting the PM
Manmohan Singh treated institutions as sacred. Modi treats them like extensions of the BJP office.
Gyanesh Kumar should watch this clip and ask himself which side of history he wants to be on.

Congratulations to @cspramesh on his successful election to the Presidentship of the International Union for Cancer Control. He takes office in 2028 and serves on the Board as President-elect. Pramesh is Director of Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and Professor and Head of Thoracic Surgery at Tata Memorial Centre. He is also Convener of the National Cancer Grid, a network of over 400 cancer centres, research institutions and patient advocacy groups. He already sits on the boards of UICC and ASCO. Pramesh is accessible and proactively helpful in his official role as well ass outside. A well-deserved recognition, which comes with many tough demands: Which he will surely meet
