The Government has announced the The Dementia Patient Flow R&I Challenge, to find new ways to diagnose dementia sooner and treat it faster. Great to see AMRC members @AlzResearchUK and @alzheimerssoc, and the Blood Biomarker Challenge they're involved in, in the announcement. ⬇️
🧠 We’re setting an ambitious goal: diagnose 92% of dementia patients within 18 weeks of referral by 2029 - up from less than 50% today.
From blood tests to AI, research and innovation can transform dementia care, improving lives and easing pressure on the NHS.
