This is the 161st official Try It Out Tuesday clear. 90th first day clear, 83rd on a Tuesday (last on both counts was Oink!). 45th BBC Micro clear (last was Maze Man [Electron User]).

Not much else I can give this one other than the Green Pass. There's nothing wrong with the code and the game is perfect for what it is. Don't know what else to say here.

As for replay value, your mileage will definitely vary. More often than not, this is one game you'll probably play for a few minutes before moving on to something else.

I had no problems with the controls at all. They are responsive and they work like they should. Whenever I pressed a button to move, my guy moved. After what happened with some games like Robo Swamp, I'm glad that's the case.

The graphics are minimal both in style and in color, but it works for the game and it works for the time. You can tell what's going on and where the other guy is going, and the sound - the little tinkling sound the other guy makes - helps with that.

To be fair, it was a type-in game in a magazine from 1983, when the micros were really starting to pick up steam, and a very simple one at that. There's not much here, but there's not much to complain about, either.

After finding out that 1 is much faster than 40 on the speed setting on the title screen, and having a bit of a hard time catching the other guy due to the wall placement, I pretty much saw everything the game had to offer, which wasn't much.

At one point, I got lucky and manage to trap the other guy in a dead end after just ten seconds. The other guy kinda "cooperated" and the random wall placement worked for me a little bit. It just fell into place.

There's only minimal color here, and thankfully, you can tell what is going on despite that. The walls are randomly generated, but there's always more than one spot where you can corner the other guy. You just have to run after him and guide him where you want to some extent.

: is Up, / is Down, Z is left and X is right. You get to pick between 1-40 for the speed. I'll start at 20 and fiddle with it in future games to see how it works.
