Parenting students visited the Olmsted Community Preschool today! Students read books they wrote and illustrated, and the preschool students played with the toys that my students created from upcycled materials. Thank you to OCP for having us out for this fun experience!

That’s a wrap on first semster Parenting 2025! Our kids had a lot of great experiences and made some fun memorories!

Students in Lifetime Health and Wellness created healthy Starbucks dupes along with desiging their own beverage sleeves. They learned how to make these drinks at home while saving fat, calories, and sugar and in some cases, adding protein.

My Parenting classes are excited to collaborate with Mrs. Judson and Mrs. Hawk’s classes at this semester! We are excited to meet your students this fall and have lots of fun planned for you!

We had another mock wedding today in FPD class at the end of our healthy and unhealthy relationships unit. Congrats to our new “bride and groom,” Jimmy Rosol and Addison Burkhard! It was a job well done by everyone in the class with their wedding roles.

As the final project for our healthy and unhealthy relationships unit, 6th period Personal Development class held their mock wedding. Congratulations to Maddie and Yezen and thanks to our teachers who participated in the wedding as well!

There will be a @OFHS_SC meeting for anyone who is interested in running for office next school year on Thursday after school at 2:50!

We had a lot of fun in Lifetime Health and Wellness class calculating how much sugar is actually in the gingerbread houses we built compared to the daily amount we need! Prizes were awarded to the winning team in each class- there were some well designed houses. Enjoy your break!
