Taylor Hall was activated off IR and expected to return for Carolina tonight, but a new issue cropped up this morning.
He’s not playing tonight, but it should be minor. Day-to-day.

All the promos I've seen (here, emails, TV spots) for this doubleheader tonight feature 'star' players for 3 teams. Guess which team doesn't get one player mentioned.

Eagerly awaiting the video of Tulsky presenting Nikishin with his Stanley Cup Ring this week.
I'm sure they'll both be enthusiastic and friendly for the cameras, but the subtext will make it extra.

Making notes for future reference:
"doesn't look good", "week-to-week" = 13 days
Good to know.
Taylor Hall says he feels good and thinks he’ll be back in the lineup tomorrow night when the #Canes battle the Bruins at Lenovo Center.
The forward missed five games due to an upper-body injury suffered on Oct. 13.
ALT Taylor Hall smiles during a recent skate.
Is Jarvis going to play at center vs Boston?

Connor McDavid praises the Carolina Hurricanes and perfectly describes their identity:
“You can't say enough good things about them, really. They do everything so well. Really, really impressive. It feels chaotic, but they're so organized amongst the chaos. It's really, really impressive. They're a great team, and there's lots to learn from them for sure.” #CauseChaos #CarolinaCulture #LetsGoOilers

Instant Analysis: #nhlcanes humble #stlblues 4-0; Carolina is standard of how teams should play; missed opportunities early set tone; Canes ramped it up and took control; Blues have plenty of work to do to get to where that team is: thehockeynews.com/nhl/st-lou…

Connor Hellebucyk has been reinstated from suspension. The #NJDevils now have him at an $8.1M cap hit for this season after his cap hit adjustment for missing training camp.
They have $103K projected cap space.
