The somewhat unapologetic statement from @IpswichTown implies they did have prior knowledge of Farage’s visit - as does the printed shirt, photography and Reform UK social posting. They briefed otherwise earlier. I would like the club to confirm whether they did know in advance.

Heather is one of the most impressive people I’ve ever worked with. So hard-working, so selfless; always wholly committed to driving her team forward. A fantastic leader, and a fantastic human. Very glad it’s not the end yet, looking forward to seeing runs from within the ranks.

If you like women's sport then please watch: ecb.co.uk/video/4226759/wome… I don't think we do enough to celebrate the women who did it all before the investment, the crowds and the profile. The hurdles were even bigger, but they laid the foundations for the sports we see today.

Ahead of International Women's Day, we asked four former and current England Women's cricketers to discuss how much the game has changed and to reflect on their own journey in the sport.

so I wrote about why I no longer want to be a sports journalist. I have been contemplating writing this for a while now and finally found the courage to do so. Hope this speaks to those working in the sports journalism/media industry. Any interaction is appreciated. Link below.

How amazing is this. Nigeria very close to making the semi-finals of a Cricket World Cup. Something to celebrate and something to build upon.

“Mr Kaba, who was not armed and had no weapons in the car, had both hands on the steering wheel when he was shot in the head.” And yet, sadly, not surprised by this verdict. What a sad indictment that is. His poor family. Certainly doesn’t feel like justice.

A sad piece, an important piece. Awful that so many women are forced to endure unacceptable situations by virtue of being a football fan. And the reaction entirely tallies with the misogyny that is rife at men's football up and down the UK every weekend. theguardian.com/football/202…
