This afternoon, HMC colleagues have been delighted to welcome our new members to part one of their New Members Induction at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park. A treasured venue in the HMC calendar, it's a wonderful place to start your HMC journey. As ever HMC is grateful to our Silver Partner, Gillman and Soame, for photographing this memorable event for us, and this year to Lenovo, HMC Platinum Partner, for their generous sponsorship of the event. Last but not least, the General Secretary also sends special thanks to the team at Cumberland Lodge for his birthday present, a touching gesture received with thanks! #HMCClassOf2025 #HMCPartners #HMCPD @Lenovo @GillmanSoame @CumberlandLodge

The resurgence of Eton Fives, a historic handball sport 🏓 with origins on the chapel walls of @Eton_College is gaining momentum both in the UK and internationally. 🌍 See the full story in The @Telegraph : buff.ly/4fx0wzY For the first time in a century, a state school - @HolyportCollege - has constructed courts, marking a significant milestone in the sport’s accessibility. With its fast-paced gameplay and unique court design, Eton Fives has expanded to over 40 schools across the UK, as well as to countries like China, Malaysia, and Nigeria. This fascinating revival is further supported by modern construction techniques and the efforts of the Eton Fives Association to broaden participation. Director of Development at the Eton Fives Association Alex Knight said: “It deserves to be played by everyone, and widening access to the game beyond its traditional base remains a priority.” #EtonFives #HistoricSportsRevival #GlobalHeritageGame
