Improving breast cancer screening, breast density education, and timely follow-up is essential to helping women make informed decisions about their health. HHS, through the Office on Women’s Health (OWH), is coordinating efforts with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and DenseBreast-info.org to strengthen screening practices, expand access to reliable breast density information, and address delays in diagnostic follow-up. Together, these efforts aim to support earlier detection and improve care for women nationwide, particularly midlife women.

No one should have to wait for the bill to find out what their healthcare costs. New HHS and @CMSGov rules strengthen price transparency so Americans can more easily compare costs, understand their coverage, and know what they’re likely to pay before receiving care.
