Today I made mij first eme contact on 9cm. Never tested the transverter before, at my first ever transmission I had echo in the waterfall. QSO was a 3 min event. – at Hilversum, Nederland

On Kingsday I made another 6 eme qso’s on 3 cm. What a great band. With my small 1.8m dish I have been able to work even smaller stations. Great to hear the echo from the last Q65 tones out of the speaker at change over. This definitely made my day. – at Hilversum, Nederland
This weekend i made my first 3cm eme qso. Friday first reception of the dl0shf beacon. Today 2 qso’s with big guns. Speaker copy signals from oz1lpr and g4rfr. Thanks guys.

#eme First layout on 24GHz eme transverter. Short: DU3T lna, RW1127 30W twt, wavelab/PA0MHE transverter and dual mode feed horn. Antenne is 1.8m prodelin offset dish. Probably in spring 2023 first tests!
#eme Together with PA7JB i made some sunnoise measurements on 24GHz. 1.8m offset dish f/D 0.8 with dualmode horn feed. Kuhne LNA 12.5dB and DU3T klna 13dB. Working on 25W station.
Made a new psu this weekend to test some 24GHz twt’s. Results: RW1127, 1W drive 25W output. RW1136, 12mW drive 12W output. I can make more output with the 1127 but it trips on helix current. > 3mA. Somebody know how far you can go on the helix current?
