Quite a journey for Meghan, from moderate Republican to supporting a person who wants to deport people for being Muslim and who said Meghan’s dad is burning in hell and supported ISIS.
Yeah - but low key she would be great at it.

He literally has terminal cancer and he clearly was declining. And the fact that some people see this video as a refutation of that just shows how much some people have dug into their foxholes on the left and the right.
Donald Trump and his asshole cult convinced 77 million voters that Joe Biden was sick and dying and too unhealthy for office. It was all a lie. And the MEDIA SOLD IT.

Totally, so embarrassing - who could forget when Gen X famously rejected Rage by making every one of their records *checks notes* platinum?
.@tmorello and Rage have been embarrassing Gen X since I was a kid and I’d have thought now that they’re old men they could finally stop!!

Huh, the guy who just posted personal info on someone who reported being raped to make a point seems to have come to the conclusion that harassing people is bad, actually.
DEAR TROLLS: Please stop calling up my dad and leaving graphic voicemails threatening to castrate him, enough already

Commentator who secretly worked as a government employee while pretending to be an independent voice commenting on her her secret employer is sad reporters exposed her dishonesty.
I have submitted my resignation from the Department of War. It has been an honor to support the mission of the Department. I remain a strong supporter of our nation’s military and Secretary Hegseth’s leadership. I’m stepping back to focus on my book tour and midterms analysis in the months ahead. I do want to say I’m disappointed by how Special Government Employees, not just myself, have been treated in public discourse. The SGE program exists so that talented private citizens can serve their country without leaving their lives behind. We as a nation can find a better way to welcome those who want to serve their country. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity. I wish the Department and Secretary Hegseth continued success.

Tracy’s main thing seems to be going after people who report they were raped/sexually assaulted. Seems like a strange main thing.
If you happen to know who this Cornell "Jane Doe" is, get in touch and I would be happy to publish her name and identifying information. And yes -- this is 100% permitted under the First Amendment, whatever threats or emotional blackmail people might want to deploy

If you’re wondering where American politics is right now, lotta folks on the far right mad that this ad isn’t more racist.
You pay taxes to cover welfare for people who just choose not to work. That’s why I launched a welfare-to-work requirement. If you’re young, healthy, and get government assistance, you should work, go to school, or volunteer.

The Pizzagate guy, who promoted an insane conspiracy claiming Democrats were drinking baby blood that led to a guy shooting up a pizzeria, is very surprised dudes in his orbit are calling for political violence.
"Voting won't get us out of this," some say. OK. Then why post? You're not taking up muskets. (Please don't.) You're jibber jabbering. Totally stupid. If you really think nothing that can be done - lawfully - matters, sign off. Have some hot cocoa and let time pass you by.

This is incredible reporting and very damning. They do, in fact, have the receipts. Many, many receipts.
Senator Collins’ office says we “took the word of someone who pled guilty,” but ProPublica conducted its own investigation of the former CEO’s assertions. We have the receipts. Our reporters independently corroborated much of the account by former Navatek CEO Martin Kao by reviewing a trove of evidence, legal records and interviewing dozens of people. And we reported that anti-corruption agents at the FBI were asking questions about Susan Collins as recently as late 2024. But after the reelection of President Trump, the FBI and DOJ teams handling public corruption probes were dismantled. Here is the full story: propublica.org/article/fbi-s…

Amazing how many commentators lack a basic understanding of the 1st Amendment. Companies can decide what speech is appropriate within their private company sphere (doesn’t make it right, just legal). Govt cannot curtail speech/freedom of the press. It’s not hard to understand.
When Trump was banned from every major social media platform as the sitting President of the United States, CNN and MSNBC celebrated. Now that they’re banned from the White House, they’re suddenly fans of the First Amendment? They don’t have a Constitutional right to be on White House grounds, no one is infringing on their ability to do reporting. They’re welcome to do that from their studio.

Funny choice of words. Kurt literally is Regime Media - he got caught secretly working for the regime while pretending to be an independent commentator on … the regime. Now he’s on record opposing freedom of the press. He’s on a roll.
Can someone explain to me why I should devote even one iota of time and effort to helping the regime media outlets that President Trump banned from the White House? This is beyond whether it’s a good or bad idea to have done it. Let’s assume it’s a bad idea. Again, why would I or any other conservative choose to help them? Why would we spend any time at all supporting their cause, time we could be spending to support our own? 1. Would those media outlets help us if the tables were turned? Well, we already know the answer to that. They were eager participants in the cancelation of conservatives under Biden. So no, they would not help us. Why would we help them? 2. By helping them, don’t we help ourselves by preserving freedom of speech? No. See above. We already know they have zero interest in our freedom of speech, and, in fact, actively oppose it. 3. But isn’t it important for people to have a free press? Yes, in theory, but the unspoken premise is that these outlets are part of a free press. They aren’t. They are committed ideologues devoted to attacking us and undermining our country. 4. Aren’t you just bitter about the way the Washington Post printed a story about you full of false innuendo accusing you of something you didn’t do and failing to disclose readily available information that would’ve undermined that negative narrative? In fact, the regime press is garbage, as that incident reaffirmed. Why should I spend any of my time or effort caring about what Donald Trump did to them? Remember, we only have a limited bandwidth for genuine caring, and can only focus on so many things at any one time. We all choose what we focus on. I choose not to help our enemies regain a position from which they can further cause us harm. Instead, I choose to focus my efforts on defeating my enemies in the midterms. Beware of anyone choosing to help the enemy at the expense of helping their supposed allies. Hey, regime media, you’re on your own. I don’t care what Donald Trump does to you. Just like you don’t care what your lefty friends do to us.

This list is correct & I respect Frum’s sharp political analysis in general, but there is a glaring omission: the center believes Hamas is wrong & so is Israel. 60% of Americans view of Israel negatively. That matters greatly, is only getting more negative & is weird to ignore
It's not hard to map the political center.

Rogan, the most powerful podcaster in America, who lives in THE CAPITAL OF MFing TEXAS, doesn't "know enough about" the guy running for a US Senate seats in the state of ... Texas. Are you kidding me, @joerogan? What is the point of you? All the power w/none of the responsibility
Ron White on Ken Paxton: “He’s a criminal. Just a piece of shit” Joe Rogan: “I don’t know enough about him, but I do know they’re surprised Talarico’s ahead of him in the polls” Ron White: “I’m not. I think people are sick of what’s going on right now in Texas. They’ve been in control for 30 years, what have they given us? Let somebody else fucking drive. They’re jacking with my marijuana, I’m ready to get em out”

One of the guys who got caught being secretly on the Pentagon payroll while presenting himself as an independent commentator on … the Pentagon … would like a word about how Pete Hegseth is the best. (He’s also hat-tipping another guy who got caught on the secret payroll)

If you celebrate layoffs, you are a ghoul. Shouldn’t be controversial: don’t celebrate people losing their livelihoods, don’t celebrate families suddenly unsure of how to pay their mortgage or rent. Wild that some people on this site need that reminder.

😂 Imagine thinking Twitter is real life and that a post with a few dozen likes is somehow a scientific poll. But mostly, imagine supporting layoffs at an Idaho company and celebrating good people having their lives upended.
Replying to @HDruzin
The ratio is a reflection of public opinion and enthusiasm and support, Heath. And public opinion is not on your side. Obviously, it's not on the Hatesman's side either. 😏

Very thoughtful response, Ryan. I know when I talk to Idahoans, their chief concerns are ratios & owning people on Twitter. Keep rooting for Idahoans to lose their jobs and keep your eye on the prize: uh, ratios.
Here ya go, Heath, I'll try to help you understand this numerically. A normal post on X runs about 3% Likes/Views ratio. Higher than that, it typically gets more Views and either goes fully viral or eventually settles down to the 3% level. My post has a 6% ratio so far. Get it?

I'm curious how @moonforidaho feels about the state GOP finance chair cheering on layoffs at an Idaho business. Is it the position of the @IdahoGOP to root for Idahoans to lose their jobs? Strange platform.
Schadenfreude. 👍😏😎
