There is absolutely no question that while Trump continues to delude himself that the U.S. is ‘respected like never before’, the world is rewiring in the background and Mark Carney is leading the charge.

There is a group of USians who want to annex Canada, and are at least influencing the decisions of their country.
Canadians need to communicate clearly that we object to that.
Booing the US national anthem is a clear, visible, unambiguous way to do that which causes harm to literally no one.
Obviously it must continue.

This number is quite staggering. In June, 75% of our exports when to the U.S.
In July, that number fell to 67%. Just one month. We’re realigning with the rest of the world as we move away from the unstable, threatening U.S. I’ve never seen such a rapid economic shift.

Canada Now Positioned to Capitalize on U.S. Trade Ultimatum:
In the last hour, Canada is now poised to secure a commanding economic advantage as Trump threatens to halt trade with deficit-running nations unless the Federal Reserve slashes interest rates. Trump issued this ultimatum following an August jobs report showing an addition of 162,000 jobs.
However, global financial markets reacted conversely, pushing bond yields higher due to brutal anticipated inflation.
Legal experts are right now noted that the administration's claims of absolute trade authority misinterpret prior Supreme Court limits on executive power.
This extremely volatile situation plays directly and perfectly into the hands of Prime Minister Carney and his elite economic advisory team, which includes economic sharpshooter Dominic Barton, and other senior finance officials.
Carney’s team had definitely anticipated these protectionist maneuvers, positioning Canada to act as the global stable economic counterweight while U.S. policy triggers self damaging domestic market turmoil.
If the U.S. executes these sweeping trade halts, the self-inflicted disruption will severely fracture American supply chains.
Canada stands ready to dominate alternative global trade corridors with agreements in place being signed as we speak effectively outmaneuvering the country south of its border.
And now, even IF the American administration retreats from this aggressive action, Canada maintains its highly secure, commanding position in North American commerce.
By leveraging predictable Canadian and international economic strategy against wild and erratic U.S. trade demands, Carney’s team ensures Canada remains a powerful, resilient leader, leaving the United States with little choice but to eventually negotiate on Canadian terms.
Please let this be the one time you don't TACO.... lol... because Canada will rapidly barrel roll the U.S.
Have fun Purple Hand... we're salivating for you to go through with this.

As we speak, aluminum on the London Metal Exchange is ~$3,300/t. Yet U.S. buyers are paying roughly $6,200/t, versus ~$4,300 in Europe and ~$3,000 in Japan. Meanwhile, Canada produces aluminum at exceptionally low cost. How long before Canadian move up the value chain?

Get It Right, America: Canada Does Not Owe You for Protection
A persistent myth circulating within right-wing MAGA circles claims that the U.S. defends Canada "for free."
This narrative is a complete lie.
The United States military has NEVER once fought to defend Canadian soil, and Canada has NEVER asked for American intervention or military protection.
Every joint defense initiative in history is an equal partnership dictated by 'cooperative international treaties'.
Take the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), for example.....
MAGA critics often complain that Washington shoulders a larger financial burden for the program. However, that asymmetric funding split was THE EXPLICIT agreement BOTH nations shook hands on decades ago; there is no hidden "membership fee" Canada has failed to pay.
Oh, and before these frameworks for NORAD existed, these shared operations were governed by Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)—a basic term many Con-Bros completely misunderstand.
Canada is entirely capable of defending its own borders... Challenging? Absolutely.... But would we fight?
Oui. Absolutely.
While a unilateral military conflict would pose massive operational challenges, Canadians have the absolute resolve to fight for their sovereignty.
We see this exact fight instinct today as Canada holds its ground in its ongoing economic trade war against American bullying... And we're fully behind our prime minister and this government to do everything we must do to protect our economic sovereignty.
Let's be clear: Canada has never asked America to step in, and even if pushed to our knees, we NEVER would.
This is OUR country, and we will protect it.
It is time for Washington to respect Canadian sovereignty, whether they like it or not.
And thats the way it's gonna go, bud.
