Thank you to everyone who made it out to Here Comes The Sun yesterday - we all had a wonderful time, despite the weather keeping us all on our toes! There were some truly brilliant acts, some very big smiles and a lot of love throughout!
The team are starting nice and early this morning, ready to transform this into a colourful celebration of culture for tomorrow!

Well, we've had a busy old day at the centre getting the place ready for Saturday - sweeping, sorting, clearing, cleaning... And making sure we remember how to put Bob together!
Only six days to go!

“English Chanson at its best”. Anne de Lima's unique voice together with evocative accordion melodies transport you through the alleyways of Monmatre to the nightlife of Berlin.
That's Jackie Doe & The Uncertainty of Passion.

We don't have any pics of mysterious electro musician JAEBEE, but we do have this pic from his Instagram and that makes us excited.
You can see/hear the video it comes from at instagram.com/jaebeemusic/
And you can see/hear it in the flesh at the festival wegottickets.com/event/58519…
It's us!
And also on 12 August, it's Here Comes The Sun at @RisingSunArts, a one-day festival of music and arts where all the doors to the centre are opened up to bring three stages of live performances, lots of art everywhere, and fun for kids too!

We're in some pretty fab festival company this month, too - wishing @ReadingMela and @CultureMixArts every smashing success with their events too!
Top Ten gig of the month?
That'll do nicely! Cheers @RDGWhatsOn!
Speaking of @RisingSunArts, their @HCTSFest makes this list this month, too - three stages with all manner of musicians (and more) including @MaBessieBand, @Jopymusic, @folk_note, @GraeJ and many more we can't tag here, all on Sat 12 August!
Accordion. Double bass. Drums. And the kinds of songs that make you want to sing and swig along to.
We're excited to bring punk shanty trio Corvid to this year's festival - almost as excited as they are!
