Update: With the recent heavy rainfall, areas near waterways & underpasses can quickly become dangerous. Our @HCSOTexas Homeless Outreach Team, alongside @TxDOTHouston, helped clean this area while connecting individuals experiencing homelessness with available resources.
Our Homeless Outreach Team not only connects unhoused individuals to resources, but also identifies public safety concerns. Persons utilizing underpasses can create safety risks for motorists & the unhoused. Our team is working with partner agencies to address these concerns.
