Today it was Reception’s turn to receive a visit from Dr Gray. The children gathered to hear the Headmaster read Dragon Post by @EmmaYarlett🐉
The children were full of enthusiasm for the book’s wonderful illustrations and funny storyline.
Thanks @HCSHead for a great story!📚

All of us at @HerefordCS Music Department were sorry to hear of Mr Rhodes’ sad passing. He left a great musical legacy in the Gilbert Consort which continues to flourish today.
The Earl of Salisbury’s Pavane and Galliard by Byrd, as played at the end of Evensong @StDavidsCath to celebrate the life of the late Richard Rhodes: founder and leader of the Gilbert Consort at @HerefordCS, who was so formative in my musical education.

A joy to host @hmkingsglos and @GarethDoodes this evening for a joint Evensong of the Chapel Choirs of @HerefordCS @KingsSchoolGlos and @KingsWorcester
Always a fantastic way to start the day!
Yesterday, @HCSHead started the day with a story in the Nursery. The children gathered on the carpet and listened quietly as Dr Gray read 'Paddington at the Carnival'. In the book, Paddington encounters lots of things beginning with the 'B' sound.
Thank you, Dr Gray!📚
A wonderful Carol Service last night @HFDCathedral with the Choir singing magnificently. A glorious evening to celebrate the incarnation of Christ.

A great weekend for @HCSsport. The 1st XI hockey won 7-0 against Cheltenham Ladies College to secure an unbeaten season and the 1st XV rugby won 45-29 against Llandaff Cathedral School under the floodlights in Wales. @HerefordCS
There are many unique opportunities in my role as Headmaster of @HerefordCS. Today's was meeting the Archbishop of Canterbury and dropping him and his colleagues off at the station following his visit to Hereford.
