Yesterday, we hosted a webinar on “Multimodal alignments of in vivo imaging and spatial biology datasets at cellular resolution.”
A special thank-you to our wonderful speakers, @jxqjim and @LunWangm from @Stanford, for sharing how TRU-FACT integrates #HCRtechnology with functional imaging and connectivity data to link cellular activity, molecular identity, and projection targets.
We enjoyed this installment of HCR™ webinars and look forward to sharing more soon!
We’re heading to the @NS4Histotech Convention this weekend!
Come say hello at Booth #620 to connect with our team and join us for our workshop, “Translating Spatial RNA Biomarkers into Point-of-Care Lateral Flow Assays,” where we’ll highlight how #HCRtechnology can be adapted for lateral flow detection.
🗓️ Sept. 29
🕤 9:15–10:15 AM
We're excited to introduce Slide Wash Chambers for manual slide-based workflows!
Orders that include HCR™ Wash Buffers for tissue sections or cells on a slide will now receive two complimentary Slide Wash Chambers. Each chamber provides a lower-volume alternative to traditional Coplin jar setups, helping reduce wash buffer use during manual assays.
Add HCR™ Wash Buffers to your next order to receive yours: molecularinstruments.com/sho…
What a fantastic time at the German Fish Meeting!
It’s always exciting to see #HCRtechnology used in such a wide range of model systems. This week, it was especially fun to hear about so many fish models, including zebrafish, cavefish, and more.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to share how you’re using HCR™ workflows in your research. We loved hearing about the variety of applications across the fish model community.
Next up for the MI team: @NS4Histotech Convention!
San Antonio, we’ll see you soon!
The MI team will be at the National Society for Histotechnology Convention. Stop by Booth #620 to talk about HCR™ workflows, RNA and protein imaging, and how our team can support your research goals.
Don’t miss our workshop, “Translating Spatial RNA Biomarkers into Point-of-Care Lateral Flow Assays,” for a practical look at adapting #HCRimaging for lateral flow detection.

More automation options for HCR™ Gold IF!
We’re thrilled to share that HCR™ Gold IF is now available on the Biocare Medical ONCORE Pro X staining platform.
Powered by the HCR™ HiFi Encoder, HCR™ Gold IF helps researchers build multiplex immunofluorescence assays with off-the-shelf primary antibodies, including same-species combinations, without custom conjugation, stripping, or fixed antibody panels. The workflow also supports species-on-species staining, including mouse-on-mouse and human-on-human assays.

Build HCR™ Gold IF Around More Primary Antibodies
More antibody panels can now be configured for HCR™ Gold IF! With Rabbit IgG and Mouse IgG1 Encoders now available across X1-X10, plus new Mouse IgG2a and Human IgG options, you now have more flexibility to design sensitive, multiplexed protein imaging experiments around the antibodies and channels that best fit your research workflow.
Whether you’re building a same-species panel or expanding into higher-plex protein imaging, these additions make it easier to design around the antibodies and channels your experiment requires.

Image RNA, protein, or both with HCR™ Gold.
HCR™ Gold supports sensitive, multiplexed fluorescent imaging with enhanced signal-to-background across RNA and protein targets.
With HCR™ Gold, researchers can:
• Image RNA targets with HCR™ Gold RNA-FISH
• Image protein targets with HCR™ Gold IF
• Co-detect RNA and protein in the same sample
• Image up to 10 RNA and/or protein targets without repeated staining cycles

Deciding between HCR™ Gold and HCR™ Pro?
Choose the amplification system that fits your target, readout, and experimental context.
HCR™ Gold supports quantitative, multiplexed fluorescent imaging of up to 10 RNA and/or protein targets with simultaneous, enzyme-free amplification and built-in background suppression across a broad range of samples.
HCR™ Pro enables ultra-sensitive, protease-free RNA and protein detection with fluorescent or chromogenic readouts, making it well suited for low-abundance targets, autofluorescent samples, and experiments where signal-to-background is at a premium.
Both are built on the same HCR™ HiFi foundation, giving researchers flexibility to choose the workflow that best fits their application.
