The BEST roaming team out there is at The Howl! Spent a good hour just interacting with them! Mazes were decent, maybe a little weaker than last year but still a great lineup overall. Crowds were managed well, so even during peak times, the event could be enjoyed to the max
The Howl at @MeadOpenFarm has been THE highlight of my Halloween season. From getting to be a part of a show, to losing my voice screaming in the shed to making friends/frenemies (looking at you Marcus) everywhere I went,
2nd Year of @Tulleys_Shock and two nights of goodness. Last night was far stronger but still a cracking event. House of Hades is outstanding! Hayride, Purgatory, Doom Town blah blah blah, you know the rest. No last minute runs at 11:30 tonight which is a shame but all round ππ
Another @THORPEPARK Fright Nights trip. DeadBeat has levelled up! The pinnacle of UVEs design combined with the team in there, it delivered the best Thorpe maze runs Iβve had, so I did it 3 times! Each one built on the last. Fantastic to see the improvement from opening night π

I had fun at Fright Nights yesterday but can't stop thinking about how dead maze queues were. Every major ride over 40mins+ while all maze queues were 5 mins or less.
The price of mazes at theme parks these days is genuinely insane, and I do not blame people for not paying
Two trips to @THORPEPARK Fright Nights down and Iβm ready to make my verdict - whilst itβs weakest year Iβve seen, the event has improved immensely since opening. Mazes are crippled by batching groups of 10-14 when queues arenβt that long. Scare zones have downgraded too sadly
I could write an essay about Tenement - itβs a complicated one. I canβt deny however, that my first run was one of the best scare attractions Iβve ever experienced
Samurai #1 flat ride?!?!? Given Talocan level rides tonight! The custom fright nights audio is a nice touch too
Hyperiaβs excessive queue is entirely due to fast track. The main queue is by the queue shop (45-50 mins). Fast track queue back to the first bend. Incredibly oversold
No Frequent Frights Pass this year @THORPEPARK?!? Exclude Tenement of course, but it will be missed for the other mazes
Me and @aldhous_chris werenβt that far off with the speculation this year ππ Canβt wait to experience Tenement π¦

π¦ TRUST WHAT YOU CAN'T SEE
The residents are gone...but you won't be alone. Something that has waited patiently beneath the building's foundations. Whether it's feeding on the darkness, or creating it, no one has lived long enough to find out.

What I want: Thorpe's maze to be torch led with a torch that can flicker on and off
What I want to avoid at all costs: hooded maze
Fright Nights New Maze Speculation Thread
With all the Fright Night teasers going on, my brains been working away on what the new maze will be.
The main thing puzzling me at the moment is unlike previous years, thereβs been next to no construction for it. I have two hypotheses
Like Purgatory, groups have to be sent through individually so limiting numbers by only selling one-shots would control this.
On one hand this could yield a very unique and fun experience. On the other, it could fall short of the other mazes (aka The Terminal)
