A strong methane win for states. 🤝 Colorado has fully adopted methane standards under the 2024 EPA rule, a great opportunity to quickly reduce emissions and an encouraging sign for other states to follow. More from EDF's Jon Goldstein. ⬇️
Fracking pollution is a medical crisis for Colorado. Dr. Simona Martin warns of increased asthma, premature births, and childhood cancer risks. Our kids and water deserve better protection.

Amendment 82 would put new protections for natural gas into Colorado’s Constitution – even though natural gas is already legal.
Health professionals are speaking out: No Pollution in the Constitution. #NoOn82
Parents have enough to worry about. Unnecessary #pesticide exposure shouldn’t be another concern.

As kids head back to school, classrooms are dangerously hot. And when schools can’t stay cool, families pay the price. Heat closures mean missed work and lost paychecks. The good news is that we have solutions ➡️ #HeatAgenda.us @scientistsorg time.com/article/2026/08/19/…
“The bottom line is that protecting public health must be at the center of this decision.” – HAWC Board Member and palliative care physician Dr. Kate Jennings on #datacenters in @newscpr: cpr.org/2026/08/26/xcel-data…
And Colorado families shouldn’t foot the bill. Data centers and other massive energy users should pay the full cost of the new infrastructure needed to serve them – including protections against stranded costs if projects never materialize or customers leave.
The Colorado #PublicUtilitiesCommission has an opportunity to set strong rules now. Growing #datacenter demand must not come at the expense of cleaner air, an affordable energy system, or a safer climate.
#Methane pollution is invisible – but its health impacts aren't.
Dr. Sara Carpenter joined partners in Adams County to spotlight the cost of wasted #naturalgas and why reducing methane pollution is essential for cleaner air, a safer climate, and healthier Colorado communities.
Check out the @EnvDefenseFund #MethaneTracker to learn more about how much #methane has leaked into our communities since the @EPA rolled back protections. This is bad for our health – and it's bad for our wallets.
