🔔📜 IceCube paper submitted to ApJ!
In a multimessenger study that combines data from IceCube and @HAWC_Obs, we looked for neutrinos from the direction of gamma-ray sources.
Story ➡️icecube.wisc.edu/news/resear…

ALT Neutrino 90% flux limit from the joint HAWC analysis. The blue triangles represent the neutrino flux limit and the red dots represent the neutrino flux predicted from the gamma-ray result. Sources with the neutrino flux predicted higher than the neutrino flux limit mean that the gamma-ray emission does not solely originate from cosmic ray interaction.
🌟Sharing a snapshot from the recent Spring 2024 HAWC collaboration meeting in Mexico City. It was a productive gathering focused on advancing the HAWC gamma-ray observatory research. Stay tuned for more insights from our team!🌟
