We’re excited to announce our first acquisition at Art Toronto for our permanent collection: 𝘈𝘢𝘯𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘢𝘨𝘰 (𝘊𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯) 01 by Native Art Department International (NADI)! 🌟 Founded by artists Maria Hupfield and Jason Lujan in 2016, NADI is a collaborative project that challenges traditional labels with its dynamic blend of performances, curatorial work, video, painting and collective installations. Rooted in cooperation and non-competition, NADI pushes beyond essentialism and identity-based art. This piece was acquired with the generous support of @HATCHglobal. You can see it at the fair in the Patel Brown booth, C10, before it makes its way to the gallery.
