The reason for my decision has been well documented in my ‘X’ posts. Many only see Orange Walks and Sashes but behind their story lies much much more including their charitable work across all faiths. The women of the Ladies Orange Lodge of Scotland led by Worthy Grand Mistress @McainshKirsty are truly amazing 💜🧡 They are the most charitable and kind individual’s you will ever meet. Not only raising millions for all of Scotland’s communities, ( this year Alzheimer’s Scotland) they knit and donate thousands of baby hats and blankets for Scotlands Neonatal Hospital Units 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👶🍼 The GOLS women’s charitable foundations are built on the charity work by their women members who went before them. Step forward the Ayrshire woman from Galston Maggie McIver (1880-1958) the founder of Glasgow Barras who was a sister of The Daughters of Dalmarnock LLOL 66. The Barras ‘Queen’ charity work was unmeasurable for Glasgow’s poor and hungry. It is really very simple for me these women and men voices deserve to be respected and heard by the @scotgov with regard to their great work. It is time to understand and look behind the Sashes and Walks as to the social and economic contributions this community makes to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. World Homeless Day 🏡 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Scotland New Build Starts Fall to the lowest since 2013. When does the housing crisis cease to be a crisis @scotgov @JohnSwinney ? The sector new build starts fell by two per cent in the 12 months to June 2026, dropping from 15,815 to 15,543—the lowest figure since 2013. Where there is ‘Cranes’ in the skyline there is bottom up growth. Where there is ‘Moxy Trucks’ there is bottom up growth. The severe lack of both is very evident across Scotland resulting few infrastructure projects that create construction jobs and follow on economic growth. 🚨Breaking News Headlines. The Price Is Right at £150k at The Scottish Greens @ZackPolanski and their disrespect for ‘WOMEN’. Plus the epic 🎬 Never try to ‘GAG’ a Killie girl … I will always get my man! This February there was an FOI request on me by an unknown person/s. I do have my suspicions as to whom made the request and why. I wasn’t aware of this FOI until it was printed online in May 2026 after the Scottish Election. I came across the request by chance then forwarded the paperwork to my solicitors at Levy McRae David McKie. ( A great company). Q-Why did someone or persons want to ‘GAG’ me and shut down my voice ? Well you see my letters were about ⬇️ ‘WOMEN’S HEALTH Someone wasn’t happy that I had written repeatedly to the @ScotGovFM ‘Department of Health’, via Humza Yousaf ,John Swinney and Kate Forbes @scotgov regarding ‘Women’s Health’ and the lack of funding and policy for Scotland’s women with the condition endometriosis. The endometriosis cause is close to my heart due to my life nearly ending with the endometriosis disease that then resulted in me being blue lighted into hospital and many years of health issues and unable to have children. Hence why I do much work for children’s causes amongst other causes. I wrote to the Scottish Government seeking more support into the research of endometriosis for the 1 in 10 women who suffer this deliberating condition. My high profile campaign and my personal funding for the University of Edinburgh ENDO 1000 project was well documented and for Endometriosis UK. I did it for free with my team as I normally do for causes that have approached me for ‘HELP’ 🙏 So …the moral to the story is simply this:- 1. I will ‘NEVER’ be ‘GAGGED’. 2. If you are coming for me you have picked the wrong ‘WOMAN’ . 3. I will always get my man- ‘WIN’ . 4. I will always fight for the left behinds. These wonderful individuals have touched my life and always leave lasting impressions. Today I am delighted to be invited and meeting again with The Grand Mistress @McainshKirsty of The Ladies Orange Association. I am attending their afternoon tea raising funds for their choosen charity partner Alzheimer Scotland. The work these amazing ladies do throughout Scotland is unmeasurable. I was delighted yesterday to meet again Maltese diplomat His Excellency Professor Stephen Montefort the High Commissioner of Malta to the UK 🇬🇧 I was presented with this beautiful silver filigree ‘Maltese Cross Brooch’ by his Excellency which was chose by his lovely wife Anna whom I was delighted to meet last night. This meaningful gift was for my work over the last weeks in building bridges with Malta. This work resulted in me bringing together a group of Scotland’s business leaders last night for a round table discussion with his Excellency and his team to discuss trade and collaberation with Scotland and our friends in Malta. A huge thank you to my dear friend @JohnMcGlynn for attending the meeting and supporting with a drinks reception at his beautiful Scottish Capital Glasgow HQ before the wonderful Maltese reception where Stephen presented the signed legal document by the Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela authorising a new Maltese Consulate to be opened in Glasgow. This new Maltese Consulate is a huge win for Glasgow and Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I was also delighted to meet the new Honorary Consul in Scotland Edgar Bincat accompanied with the Malta trade team where much discussion took place on business, trade, education, sport, enterprise, tourism, film, media, hospitality, manufacturing, energy,aero sectors and religious tourism plus much more.
