Do you know what a "bottle night" is?
Probably not, because my fucking boys and I invented it during a 2024 evening in Milwaukee, WI
We lock our phones away, turn the TV off...
Each grab 2 bottles of wine, tape it to our hands, and talk.
Do you know what a "bottle night" is?
Probably not, because my gf and I invented it during a 2023 blizzard in Buffalo, NY.

That's it, we simply talk and enjoy each other's presence.
We live together, but it's easy to miss out on "quality time".
What do you think?
Do you have other methods for enjoying quality time with your partner?

To run Skubal, Yamamoto, Snell & Glasnow out to the mound as your starting pitchers and get swept in 4 is absolutely ridiculous.
Hilarious update on this. Guy came up to me today, said “have you seen this,” and showed me his first tattoo. YOLO in massive letters on his forearm. Not sure on his current veganism status.
Same guy left the office at 11 and missed a weekly sync meeting at 1… Will continue monitoring the situation. #VeganGate
You need to have unlimited beers in a speakeasy underneath a fire house in Banja Luka right at the start of the Russo-Ukrainian War before you can have a take on the Republic of Srpska. Luckily enough for me I have.
FAQ
Q: How is it?
A: Awesome (for the most part).
Q: How did people there treat Americans?
A: Multiple groups of girls came up to me and my buddy talking because “it’s sounds like I’m in a movie when you talk” (awesome) and then would ask us to go to cool places with them. A lot of people speak zero English but were very tolerant and everyone understood beer and meat when ordering.
Q: Can you toose and have fun?
A: Yes but they were extremely strict and you had to get invited into bars. At normal bars they cut you off after 3 beers so we had to find spots that were less regulated to really get after it.
Q: Why did you leave after 4 days when you had planned on being there for a week?
A: While most people were friendly to me a few were not. There was a lot of Russian insignia on billboards and posters around the region and one night I got a threat that “we better not see you tomorrow and you should probably leave this town or else” from a uniformed policeman after he heard me speaking with an American accent with my buddy and a group of local women. I deemed it credible enough of a threat to believe them. Too long of a story to get into the details too much but I was spooked.
Q: What were your overall thoughts?
A: It’s an awesome place with beautiful architecture and full of really cool people who had been through a lot. Some of the stories people told me about what happened to their families during the Bosnian War was unthinkable and so sad, it seemed like an entire generation of men had been wiped out. The people in general were awesome, the food is amazing (and super cheap), and it was a really cool area to experience.
The Republic of Srpska definitely has its flaws but they are currently in a pretty unwinnable situation. I would go back and I really enjoyed my time there, with that being said it’s probably not a great look that Trump’s top aide’s daughter is taking pictures with leadership and getting paid ridiculous money from them when we are supposed to be Bosnia’s ally.
Beast Guy’s official ruling: no comment.
An image circulated on social media and verified by CBS News shows Katie Wiles, the daughter of White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, recently traveled to Republika Srpska, the Bosnian-controlled territory led by pro-Russian Serb strongman Milorad Dodik. cbsn.ws/4jbKAIk
