Bayini is a love song, by Rrawun Maymurru, Gurrumul’s grandson, about a spirit woman called Bayini (sung by Sarah Blasko) who comes on a boat from Makassar to Arnhem Land, turns into a spirit and who still looks after the area of Bawaka to this day.
