It’s becoming painfully evident that 90% of Indian football content creators have a weird, almost obsessive hatred for Arsenal and its fans, driven by nothing but their own delusion.
It’s honestly a pathetic state of affairs at this point.
Support your club, have your banter, take the jokes — that’s football.
But when it goes beyond that, it’s just embarrassing. 🤦♂️

I’d actually be pretty sad as a City fan. After all this time of them telling you to back them and not to worry, their only defence is to try and get off on a technicality. No actual defence to suggest they aren’t guilty
Manchester City will argue the so-called 'tagged' sponsorship payments (totalling £830m) came from the Abu Dhabi Government not their owner (ADUG). This applies to State-controlled entities such as Etihad and Etisalat. Yet Etihad has previously refuted AD Government funding as "false".
City can point to an internal report written for the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in 2010 which concluded the Abu Dhabi Government did indeed cover the sponsorship of Manchester City. The report was not intended for external publication.
In their UEFA case, City denied the Etihad (or any other) sponsorship funds came from any other source other than a direct payment. Sheikh Mansour provided a letter which read: "I have not authorised ADUG to make any payments to Etihad, Etisalat or any of their affiliates in relation to their sponsorship of MCFC."
In 2015, the 'Partnership for Open and Fair Skies' wrote to the US departments of Commerce, Transportation and State arguing Etihad gained a competitive advantage due to receiving huge sums from the Abu Dhabi Government. They allude to the internal report referenced above, which appears to confirm this.
Yet Etihad's response was: "The assertion that the Abu Dhabi Government paid for Etihad’s sponsorship of English Premier League football club Manchester City is equally false.
"In 2011 Etihad and Manchester City entered into a 10-year sponsorship agreement, which included naming rights for Manchester City’s stadium. Etihad funded this sponsorship from its own liquidity. It is not uncommon for airlines to have sponsorships with sports teams and their venues."
Etihad's denial the Abu Dhabi Government helped pay for their sponsorship goes against City's core argument, according to the verdict, that "AD Sponsors had from time to time applied for financial assistance from the AD Government towards their liability to pay the Recorded Sponsorship Fees."
Due to redacted names, multiple sponsors, and the phrase 'from time to time', City could make a case for other sponsors, but Etihad's on-record denial doesn't help the club's position, according to multiple legal sources spoken to.
Worth also reiterating, the panel, having reviewed the evidence already provided, already concluded any notion the Abu Dhabi Government not ADUG paid the tagged sums was "concocted well after the event".
They lied before and still cheated.
They are lying more now to hide their lies.
What a Hideous bunch of Organization
Either they are punished for lying to government then or they are punished for now
#MCFC’s key defence in its appeal over the Premier League guilty verdict was denied by its own title sponsor Etihad Airways in an extensive submission to the US government in 2015

Appealling against "the opinion of the Premier League Commission". The nerve.
Kick all state owned clubs out of prem ..that's the ultimate solution

UAE officials have warned the UK government that the severity of Man City’s punishment could undermine their appetite for future grand-scale commitments in Britain, according to people familiar with the matter
They consider the Premier League’s actions to have an influence on the bilateral state relationship, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing undisclosed information
The extraordinary pressure comes after Andy Burnham faced criticism, including from within government, for saying Man City’s Abu Dhabi owners should not be disqualified specifically because of the investment they bring to Britain

Nobody will leave City if they’re relegated for one season. That’s the point.
It’s about the players—they’d probably just feel like vigilantes fighting against oppression, before coming back to the PL. 😂

Ornstein on the overlap said people who have looked into the City case are baffled, they did not even need to cheat when they did, or nowhere near to the level that they did.
They could have got legal sponsors who paid a lot of money etc, they still had room to comply with FFP.
So in short, this nonsense that FFP hindered them is complete bullshit.
City just wanted to do it "now" no waiting, no building, they cheated massively to destroy the league, when they did not even need to.
So any argument about FFP is futile.

Mikel Arteta left the club in 2019.
The flood of damning emails that proved City had been corrupted by its owners / exec (and that the CAS hearing was a farce) were only released in 2020.
Before then, there were serious questions to be answered. After then, it was simply known.
Replying to @HandofArsenal
Mikel has a stain on his name, he was at City enjoying the cheating before joining you
He took the cheating model to your club and you gladly accepted

Premier League clubs are no longer willing to wait, they want Manchester City sanctioned immediately.
It is expected that Manchester City will get sanctions that will be enough to relegate them to the championship.

To conclude, a 12 week trial conducted by an independent panel found City guilty. They also found numerous City witnesses to be dishonest.
City will appeal (using irrefutable evidence) & to clarify any NEW evidence presented needs granted permission. Judgement day soon.

Cofirms our @talkSPORT exclusive from the weekend that the #MCFC owners could be declared 'unfit'. Also Premier League rivals pushing for a swift resolution as per reporters elswhere.
🗣️ Statement from Independent Football Regulator Chair David Kogan on #MCFC: “The independent commission’s decision raises serious issues.
“The IFR has powers to assess the suitability of owners, directors and executives and we will use these powers where appropriate, in the interests of protecting the sustainability, honesty and integrity of English football where there is clear evidence of wrongdoing by individuals.
“This includes taking account of findings made by the Leagues. However, as the proceedings remain ongoing between Manchester City and the Premier League we will await further developments.
“We hope it can be resolved quickly for the sake of fans. For now, we have no further comment.”

Tone deaf response. Many City fans are disgusted, angry and confused but yeah "all in it together" comments are really going to help. Doubt many City fans agreed with the horrific level of cheating
🗣️ Pep Guardiola’s message following the verdict against #MCFC. “I want every single Manchester City fan to know I am here; more than ever. I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters.
Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all.”
Sanction should come earliest it can irrespective of the appeal.
Man city can't be leading Pl with knowing that their current owners
Are cheats .
What a loser reply… Being behind Man City fans, we get that. But being behind an owner whose actions could cost you your PL status and have tarnished your image?
I’m starting to doubt Pep didn’t know. He knew.
